Granted it only lasts for a week or two. Our humidity during the hottest part of summer runs in the high 90's,. While I don't like it, it won't be a shock to my system. And knowing I don't have to stay down there longer than 5 days makes it easier. MORE BACON!For some insane reason Rita & I decided we would make a short trip to Magic Kingdom. It was REALLY INSANE!Heading for the boat, we say the 'Pirate Ship' loading ...It was already getting warm, so we hopped on the train to Frontierland. These birds were all over - many of them standing on signsFrom Frontierland Station, it was off to the Haunted Mansion ...A quick peak at Big Thunder Mountain from the HM queue Interactive - press the instruments and they play ... and the other side - also interactive. Off to Dole!Along the way, we saw the Main Street Philharmonic ...It's about time!After the Pineapple Floats, we were still not cooled off!Time to go inside somewhere where the AC was cranking - Hall of Presidents was about right. Hmmm - I wonder which President wore that :rofl2:After that, I grabbed a liter of ice cold water and Rita got a Diet Coke. Mine was finished by the time we got back to the Frontierland Station. Have I mentioned that it was HOT?Billboards on the Fantasyland Construction Site ...A FastPass station for two new additions in the building with Tony'sEnough of Magic Kingdom - it was just too damn HOT!
