I really enjoyed this stop and wish I had been able to spend more time here.Here's another window shot, these really cracked me up!One thing you should know, there are two Saloon# 10's. The first one you encounter is a casino with a lot of memorabilia but it is not the site where Wild Bill was murdered.This is the original, I wish it had been opened, I would have liked to go inside and get the whole experience. I like that kind of stuff.We came across this guy during our walk. I was glad to see we weren't the only turkey's in town. :rofl2:We left town and took a state highway to Sturgis. It was a windy road and I wouldn't take it if there were snow on the ground. It was a beautiful ride this day!After leaving the Sturgis area the landscape got a little bland. The only thing to break up the monotony were these. If I had taken DaveinTN's advice and had a shot every time I saw one of these I'd be dead. :rofl2:I have said it before but believe me, check out the rest areas you stop at. There are almost always interesting things to see.One thing though and this goes especially for Stef, Use the facilities no matter how bad you need to go!We had one last night in Iowa and the it was just a matter of getting through Chicago. The traffic was a little heavier than what we had been driving in for the last week but we still breezed right through, This never happens. I have parked on this section of I80/I94 more times than I can count.Now I am finished. This was an awesome experience. Even our breakdown proved interesting. I want to go back but I want to be in my MH and take time to really enjoy everything I saw around me.Thanks for following along. I loved sharing this trip with you.
