Not to ask the obvious question...but what do they do in that situation? Terminate the pregnancy and then perform the surgery all in one procedure? Kinda sad, although those kittens wouldn't have had a good outcome anyways unless you intervened again.

Yes, that's what they do. And yes it is sad, but as you said, another batch of stray kittens that Lil Mama doesn't seem keen on caring for in the first place wouldn't have had much of a chance on their own.

On another note, you should give that cat a Russian name. She reminds me of Anna's biological mother. Anna was her 9th pregnancy. How about Katia?

or..... Catia? 8)

Glad my little fighter has adapted to traveling. The house seems a little boring without the sound of his little paws running, actual galloping, from one end to the other. While the first few days we

If rep points were dollars, that might be a motivator, but they're not and useless otherwise. The up arrow crew has me over 1600, so up arrows I don't need.

Buddy It wasn't tough at all. No big deal. After all, I'm a cold, rough, tough, non-feeling man with tons of street cred.

Yes

That's a great suggestion Dave, but I would change it to Cat-ia.

Hey, don't you need another female in your life. She's very friendly and smart, just like all your other girls. I deliver.

Once he got over whatever he had, he was a good eater here too. He's looking good. Looks like the fur on the tip of his tail might be filling in.

Unfortunately tomorrow is going to be kinda of a sad day. His mom is doing very well and since it will be the 7th day after her surgery, it's freedom day.

Hopefully she will continue to stop by.

Yeah. Lil Lou is so cute. And man oh man is he lucky he's adorable! He's so feisty!!! He chews on everything and everybody unless he's asleep. ha ha ha. We took him outside with us this weekend. He loved it!! He used Ken as his "safe place" and explored a bit of our front yard. Misty (our girl cat) even came over to see how he was doing. Our other male cat, Jack is terrified of the little guy... so hopefully that will change with time. But he's settling in and becoming part of our family. :heartsmiley:
