Those DW floats with spiced rum have been available at Aloha Isle in the MK for years. You just need to carry a couple of these minis in your diaper bag.

Just got back from EPCOT. Took 291 pictures, only a couple of desserts from Norway.

You both have no idea how the wheels are turning in my head right now....

The Disney Food Blog has posted an article with a full review, pictures, menus, etc. for the 2013 Epcot Flower & Garden Festival...

A few excerpts...

THE COTTAGE: Savories, Trifles and Tea

– United Kingdom

The Biscuit and Salmon is a delicious dish! The tartare is fresh with lemon and dill, and the still-warm biscuit was a nice touch.

This salad offered very fresh and full-flavored tri-colored tomatoes!

The trifles are available individually, or as a trio as seen here. Each offers about two bites, and our favorite was the green tea!

BAUERNMARKT: Farmer’s Market

– Adjacent to Germany

The Bread Pudding is chock full of mushrooms. It’s like stroganoff without the meat!

FLORIDA FRESH

– World Showcase Promenade, Mexico side

The Watermelon Salad is getting rave reviews from guests. A hearty portion of fresh ingredients really makes this dish.

The Shrimp and Stone Ground Grits offers three big, spicy shrimp and lots of sausage and sauce. It’s delicious when paired with the Tomato Wine.

JARDIN DE FIESTAS

- Mexico

A rich, creamy, spicy crab tostada is also on the menu. The topping here is cold and offers a nice contrast with the shell.

PRIMAVERA KITCHEN

– Italy

The lasagna is beatiful, but a bit bland. The spinach pasta looks homemade, and there are plenty of chunky veggies! Just needs a little salt…

This Asparagus is a winner! Big chunks of lobster and a creamy mayo sauce with onions and shallots — possibly horseradish. It’s a cold dish, so be prepared for that.

THE SMOKEHOUSE: Barbecue and Brews

– The American Adventure Courtyard

The Smokehouse Slider is huge — definitely not a small portion, and I’d put it between a regular slider and a large sandwich in size.

It’s delicious, with a nice, vinegary slaw.

We loved this brisket, which had a good fat-to-meat ratio. The cornbread was hot and sweet with that little kick of spice from the jalepeno. A good choice!

HANAMI

– Japan

The Frushi was highly anticipated and is lots of fun — especially for kids. Note the types of fruits to be sure you’ll enjoy. This is a sweet, dessert sushi, basically.

The Chirashi Hanazushi is ideal for folks who like cold seafood dishes. The sauce is the winner here for us.

TASTE OF MARRAKESH

– Morocco

The Chicken Drummettes here are spicy — almost like curry! The salad alongside is a bit boring — just cucumbers and cabbage mostly, with a crunchy texture.

The lamb dish is an interesting combo of warm meat and cold couscous! The couscous had a sweet spice taste. Very good!

L’ORANGERIE

– France

This tarte has a light, flaky texture and a yummy fresh flavor.

So I'm wondering if folks are actually gonna pay attention to the flowers this year. Some of that stuff looks YUMMY!!!

The addition of food and drinks is genius on Disney's part.

The Flower and Garden show was not something that we wanted to visit multiple times. It was just a one day thing, and we were good.

With all of the food and drinks, they will have more repeat business. And make money to boot.

Genius.

There are flowers there?

Ditto, for the last five years, we've gone mainly for the concerts, but I've seen most of the acts before and there are just a couple this year that I might go see.
