Next up was another ride on the Tea Cups.  I was happy to ride in a non-spinning cup with Mo and Yvonne.  Sarah went to ride with Jen, as Jen said she wanted to spin.  Sarah wasn’t expecting lessons on the best way to spin!  Jen takes this very seriously.

We watched the Festival of Fantasy Parade near the Hall of Presidents.  Afterwards, we found tables and chairs in air conditioning near outlets!  More learned Womenz said it used to be a shop.  It was definitely a welcome pit stop for some hot and tired Wild Womenz.  I recall some snacks, and Yvonne got me some ice water.  Thank you, Yvonne!!!

The next morning, we were awakened by our “wake-up call” from Baymax.  I put it on speakerphone so we could both enjoy it.  I think it was just too early for such things.  Pretty soon, we were on a bu

I have no clue what all that means, but there it is.

We stopped at Mouse Gear on the way out of Epcot.  Sarah fell in love with a Bambi pillow pet, but I talked her out of buying it.

We headed back to MK where I dropped my phone off still in hopes of getting it charged.  (They did!).

Nicole joined us :D and we all watched Celebrate the Magic and Wishes.

I don’t remember if we rode anything before heading to FrontierLand.  We claimed the rocking chairs I had found the other night and settled in to wait for the Main Street Electric Parade.  Sarah wanted popcorn and some others wanted snacks, so Yvonne and I went to hunt for those.  Most of the kiosks were closed but we did find one selling popcorn and Mickey bars.  Winning!

Would you believe the same family was across the street and the parade once again veered towards them?  Finally, Sarah and Yvonne and I headed up the street to get some character interaction.  I was pretty miffed at this point!

After that, I really wanted a nighttime ride on Mine Train, so the WW humored me.  Jen and Nicole preferred not to ride.  I had never been through the stand-by line before so that was fun.  The ride was extra fun at night, so definitely do that if you get the chance.

The next day was leaving day. :(

The next morning, I was hoping to get a fairly early start so I could see my children before they went to bed.  Ha!

Eventually, we did get everything all packed up.  Gwen took some photos of everyone which hopefully are on her TR.  Not sure why I didn’t take one.  I think I was just too tired.

Around 11:30, Sarah and I finally got on the road.  Thirty minutes later, driving through Orlando traffic, Sarah realized she had something belonging to one of the other Womenz.  We called and checked and they needed it back sooner rather than later, so we turned around.

After dropping it at the campsite, Sarah somehow talked me into lunch at Trail’s End.

It was a long, long trip home filled with more than one moment where I forgot I was driving.  I thought I was just on another ride!  We stopped at Cracker barrel for a very late dinner and they loaded me up with Sweet Tea, including a to-go cup for the road.  That did the trick and we made it home safe and sound at 2am.

Now that my TR is done, I am ready to start planning another trip!

Love your report!! I wish I could have hung out more!!  I just noticed something though rereading.  When you left Port Orleans, you took the Loooooong way around to the Fort.  All you needed to do was hang a right out of Port Orleans, go till the road dead ended, then turn left at Golden Oak, and then you would have been right at the Fort back entrance.

I really enjoyed this TR! You and Sarah have great smiles and the photos of you having so much fun really brightened a few of my boring days between trips. Glad that Sarah got the Bambi pillow after all.

Now for the serious question that I bet at least one of the Wild Womens knows the answer to:

Can you still get a frozen Mojito slushie in the parks? Used to be at the refreshment stand in World Showcase as you went counter-clockwise toward Canada.

Nancy's favorite drink and they weren't available last June.

Maybe someone has the recipe? I have a wedding anniversary coming up and it would be a nice touch if I could make her one of those,

Great TR, Marty!  Wish we could have spent time together in the parks.  Looks like you had a great time that last night.

Wonderful trip report :)    So glad that you and your sweet girl got this special time together.  I took my mom to Hawaii for her birthday; that was over 20 years ago and I still remember how special it was for me... which tells you that Sarah will remember this trip for years to come   :heartsmiley:

I'm so jealous of you all who have great relationships with their mothers.  I've never felt that from my mother.  Only how horrible my birth was.

That was my mom...with her mom.  Drama and selfishness, sadly, best described my grandma-mom.  I think it's part of the reason my mom, became a mom at 17.  She married at 16 and then got pregnant... she wanted a family to love.  I have been blessed as, I have no doubt, your children have too Gwen  :hugs2:

I truly hope my children and grandchildren have been blessed!  At an early age (5-6 years old) I decided I would be as different as my mother as possible.

After riding The Seas, we spent some time looking around in the aquarium before heading to Living with the Land.  We had time to kill before our Test Track FP+ so Sarah suggested we do Ellen’s Energy Adventure.  It was a nice nap.  And that is all I have to say about that.

Next up was Test Track.  Sarah designed a cool car and then I messed up something so it disappeared.  Still, the ride was fun.

I have been super busy lately and only just got to finishing this tonight. I did want to point out though you posted the Rockin Roller Coaster shot again where you meant to post the Test Track picture. I only noticed because I remembered the guy sitting nonchalantly in front of the two of you during the RnR launch. LOL
