  1. Thanks Jason. Do they ever offer the annual on a discount? Knowing Disney probably not but figured I would ask.
  2. Must have overlooked that link you tossed out there. Thanks for that info. Knowing that I may plan to go the first week if we can swing it. Was looking at annual pass info since we will be down there at thanksgiving. May cost me a little more but in the long run I think it may be worth it. Does anyone use the discount on food? That alone may cover the roughly 50 more per annual pass vs buying tickets for both trips. I am assuming the annual pass includes the hopper or is it one park per day? Couldn't find that info on a quick look. Thanks, Ryan

Thinking about trying to get down to the fort in May if possible. Looking for some feedback on this. My sons bday is 5/11 and would love to go down 5/7-5/13. My mom is trying to get me to go over memorial day so we would be looking at adding an additional day and going 5/26-6/3. I am leaning towards the first option for smaller crowds. It may just end up being my son and I and not the whole family. The wife doesn't want to go down 2 times in one year and we would be back a thanksgiving. I hate to leave my daughter at home but she isn't old/tall enough for all of the rides and my son would
  4. That's an interesting twist to the story. Really you could give me the coke syrup and I would drink it strait. Who needs water and co2? :D
  5. We have the furrion observation camera as well. Really helps with backing up. Got a really good deal on ebay new in the box. Think I paid $250 for it. Our TT was also already wired for the camera. JMSisko is right that most stores that carry it charge a lot for it. More for the furrion than others if I remember correctly. There are some differences with the backup vs observation. Biggest thing I remember Ryan being the angle of the camera. Observation will look a little further behind the trailer while the backup points more towards the ground. We have traveled from OH to FL and back as w
  6. Last time we were there my mom spent a lot of time talking to random Disney employees...and a few for a while. One of them told her that Disney pays nothing to Coke for their product and Coke gets the free advertising. If that is true, which I doubt it, then Disney is making a crap ton on just soda sales.
  7. LOL...christmas at the fort is horrible. Let me tell you, every present that was opened was a drumroll followed up with a "trip to the fort" ending. The closest thing was some Disney gift cards which is perfect for my next trip to the fort.
  8. Looks great. I am going through camping withdrawal and am really missing the fort. Only 11 months until we are back. I would love to be there at Christmas but I doubt that will happen while my kids are still young. I have to live through you guys while we enjoy Christmas here in cold and dreary Ohio.
  9. I am laying here on my couch watching YouTube videos of the Fort at Christmas. I still have not convinced my wife to let me leave to head down. It would be a long drive and I would probably have to sleep in the parking lot but hey....i would be at the fort. Was curious how things were down there this year. Anyone on the scene that can help feed my addiction? I need my fix.
  10. We were in that position when we got ours. We only use them at one campground and we don't take them with us when we go to campgrounds with power. If the campground looses power we have enough battery to run the fantastic fans on full for a few hours. Anything past that we would probably have an issue but we would deal with it. Our last trip to the fort we couldn't get into our site and we wanted to sleep. We parked in overflow and flipped on both fantastic fans and cooled the TT down into the high 70's. While still hot it would have been over 100 in there without them. We both said the g
  11. Cabelas is selling the Champion 2000w inverter generators for $400 a piece with free shipping. This is a killer deal for these. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Champion-Watt-Inverter-Generator/1149997.uts?searchPath=%2Fbrowse.cmd%3FCQ_page%3D20%26CQ_search%3Dgenerator%26CQ_st%3Db%26categoryId%3D734095080
  12. Nacole, If you are still looking this is a killer deal on the champion 2000w. $400 with free shipping is really good for these. 2 of them and the parallel cable will get you going in you TT. Not sure how long they will be on sale for. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Champion-Watt-Inverter-Generator/1149997.uts?searchPath=%2Fbrowse.cmd%3FCQ_page%3D20%26CQ_search%3Dgenerator%26CQ_st%3Db%26categoryId%3D734095080
  13. I am holding a site along with my sister and brother in law. Hope you can snag one. Being a year our I bet you will get in there. Jason can help you out.
  14. Economy mode will allow the generator to adjust itself as needed to save fuel and keep the generators quiet. If you don't run the AC most of the camper can run off of economy mode. You will hear the generator ramp up when you turn on something and ramp down when it stops. Some inverters can run on economy with the AC and others cant. Mine can go either way but it is hard on the AC of the generators are not running at full. It is the initial startup of the AC that it struggles with. Once the AC is running they ramp down some if economy mode is on. You can make it a little easier on the gen
  15. I am going to apologize in advance. It got really windy today so you are going to hear that in the video. I also found out how crappy the microphone on my phone really is. When I am in the camper you can hear the generators but for some reason they are almost non existent in the video. Before I go into the camper I have both of the champion 2000w's running on max (non economy mode). This will force the generators to run at full load. When I come back out I turned off the economy mode and let them adjust themselves based off of the load. You can hear the difference between idle and full load th
  16. Your right on the 3200w peak will not sustain 3200w. To find out what your sustained is you would use the running wattage rating. For the 50ft away, I meant if you stand 50ft away from them while running. also keep an eye out for this one. They will have a rating for sound output. That is the lowest amount of noise they put out. Doesn't matter the brand as they all rate at lowest running output which you will almost never be at. Realistically you will always be around 70-72db on full load which your AC will make your generators run close to. Again at full load at 70db and standing 50
  17. Forgot to add with the noise piece, if you run parallel inverters adding the second one doesn't double on noise. It just doubles on fuel usage. They are no louder. The sound of two running vs one just gives you a small stereo effect to how it sounds. The level of sound doesn't change.
  18. Nacole, Probably should have worded the wattage thing a little differently. Most generators have a wattage rating which is what they sell you. For the champions I have they are 2000w per the sales material. That is the peak load. You should look at the running wattage load which will be lower. For my champions I believe it is 1700watts. If you parallel them you get a running wattage of 3400w and not 4000w. It is a little tricky but always look at your running watts and not the peak number on the unit. Only company I knew that advertised by running watts was generac but that could have cha
  19. Also if you go with a parallel setup make sure you have the wattage you need to run what you want to run. The champions are 4000w total between both but when you run them in parallel the total wattage output is reduced. if you go with a larger output like a yamaha 4500 look at the weight. It may make it difficult to transport if you are lifting in and out of the truck. Ryan
  20. I have not heard anything negative about them. What model are you looking at? I looked at the P2200 and ended up going with the champion 2000 inverter instead. I got a pair of the champions with the parallel cable for close to $300 cheaper than a pair of the B&S. If you are wanting to boondock and run your AC you are going to need at least 3200 watts in most cases unless you put a hard start capacitor in your AC. I looked at the generac, honda, yamaha, and even a few chinese knockoffs. Of all I looked at and even purchased those knockoffs were horrid and they couldn't pay me to take o
  21. My sister has one of those for her TT. It works well for 30amp and it is pretty quiet. Not a yamaha or Honda but it gets the job done. I have a pair of the 2000's from champion with the dual generator adapter. They work just as well. I went with the 2000's because they are easier to lug around. That 3100 is pretty heavy dry and with oil and gas it is a little heavier. I don't think that champions inverter generators are given enough credit. They make a good generator.
