  1. I'll give you my .02 on the 4x4 vs 4x2. Short and sweet....if the 4x2 doesn't have a limited slip differential, you will really wish you had that 4x4. The 4x4 in my 1500 bailed my rear out a few times when it kept slipping one rear wheel backing into spots on a slight uphill slope. My 1500 didn't have limited slip in the rear and the 4x4 was the only thing getting me up into the spot. I use the 4x4 almost every time we are out. Mainly to get my camper back into my drive which also has that same minor slope with gravel. If you go 4x2, make sure it is limited slip in the rear otherwise you may
  2. I would offer him the original price and if he won't take it move on. 6 grand is a big jump. Agreed Same here. If he doesn't agree to the original price, move on. Remember, it has had a lot of work done to it to put it back together.
  3. I own a 2012 Ram that is right in the midst of this. I'd buy another Ram without concern. Same here. My 2013 1500 was fantastic. You would have to pry my cold dead body out of the 2015 2500 drivers seat to get me to part with it. Look at it this way, every manufacturer has issues. Ram is just in the spotlight now because 2 issues popped up quickly in the media and the one recall has been around for a while. Regardless of what you choose, you will always have things that need maintenance and repair. Just like your TT will over time. Nothing stays in perfect shape forever.
  4. I also love Ratatouille! I actually like quite a few of the newer ones. But I agree with the survey after rewatching Lion King a lot lately with W it's a great movie. WBI Forgot about Ratatouille. That was a good flick. Just remembered Meet The Robinsons as well. It was a good one. I think my favorite 70s Disney has to be Robin Hood. Hey at least they didn't say it was one of the early 2000s animated features like Brother Bear or The Emporers New Groove.
  5. It is important to remember that this "hack" was done under a grant from the government. In addition, they worked with Chrysler while they reverse engineered the Cherokee. Chrysler already had a software update ready before this was publicized and they also closed the network port inadvertently left open by Sprint. The two guys who hacked the Cherokee verified that the hack will no longer work even if the cars are not updated, yet Chrysler more completely removed the vulnerability via the update (issued as a recall). It is also important to note that the hacking of the friend's car was rea
  6. If it is a 2013 you are ok. It is only the trucks that have the Internet connect version of uconnect. In 2013, it was only available on a 1500. You can tell if it has this option by looking at the rear view mirror. It will have some buttons like emergency and help (kind of like onstar)
  7. Hmmm, missed those ones. They are older and not well known outside of the hacking community. I knew a guy who had a volt and we messed around with it using their vulnerabilities. The guy I knew that had the volt also knew these guys.
  8. Yeah that u-connect one just blew up in their face last week with those white hat hackers disrupting their friends car while he was driving it. Personally, I think they were jackasses for doing it while he was on an open road with traffic around. They should have done it on a closed course. This isn't the first time they did it. The same guys tore apart a volt and a tesla.
  9. There is another recall for 2013-2015's. Or I should say 2 recalls. One is for a stereo security vulnerability with uconnect. You can download a new version of the software to correct it from the uconnect site. The other is for an airbag issue with both front and side impact airbags.
  10. That is awesome. Last time we were at the fort we waited forever to get to DHS and knowing when the bus would show up would have helped with the kiddos
  11. Doesn't surprise me. Hated the lion king. I personally think the little mermaid and beauty and the beast were better. I would have taken a few others over the lion king.
  12. Been to cape may once and won't go back. Had bad service and the food was not much better than the service. When we go back down, I would like to try some new resort restaurants. Although we now may have to delay our thanksgiving trip due to my mom having health issues.
  13. This fiend will be there pending we don't run into any issues. I didn't think about the roaster. Never done a turkey in one but that could work out well. Ours is a little big but it would work. Now you have me thinking outside the box.
  14. Good point. We will be there at thanksgiving so hoping it will be ready when we are there.
  15. Did you guys find anything yet or take a break from searching? Did that 2013 RAM ever get fixed?
  16. Say opens this fall. Hoping to see it when we are there. Although I am not to sure what you can do with color and an exhibit.
  17. I got the new 14k equalizer in and installed it. Took some doing to find someone who could torque the ball close to me but I found someone. The difference between the 10k and 14k was night and day. The 14k was not as loud and actually to slightly nose down which I couldn't get the 10k to do. Measurements put the front back to stock height and rear down 3/4 of an Ilinch of I remember correctly. I didn't get to drive to much with it but got it up to freeway speeds and couldn't tell it was back there. No semi pull like the 10k had. I am please with the setup vs how it was on the 1500 with the 10k
  18. Ohio, Sugarcreek/Mineral City Ahhh up in Amish country. If you get the chance, head over to heines cheese cottage and check it out. Also, miller's bakery is awesome (but you have to get there early to get the best donuts). Hope you have a great time up there.
  19. Agreed! Right now I wouldn't mind being North of the Mason Dixon line, with the temps running about 98 during the day and heat index of 110!! You get soaking wet just walking out to the mailbox! Wait until you hit ohio. It was 91 today when I got to our property to mow it. 100% humitidy. After being out in it for 4 hours, the thunderstorms and lightening came through and made it worse. Been like this in Ohio for a few months. I would take the south heat over the rain/humitidy streak we are on. Where was your t@b rally at again?
  20. Here is another one that is similar and cheaper than the last one I just posted http://www.wayfair.com/Fairmont-1-Light-Post-Mount-Z5825-88-FD10427.html
  21. These are to rich for my blood but very close to what you are looking for. http://www.wayfair.com/Troy-Lighting-Dakota-Post-Lantern-P3074EB-P3075EB-TRL1525.html
  22. We will miss you by a week. Otherwise we would be in. Anyone interested in 11/23-12/3 (arrive on the 22nd and leave on the 4th)?
  23. You think everyone is going to leave the fort with beer? :D I actually like the idea. Hope we are there at the same time you are.
  24. I thought about freezing but we will get there a week earlier and not sure how well that will work out. That and most of the turkey will probably be eaten before I could even freeze it. Love me some turkey and dressing smothered in gravy.
