  1. I probably should be knocking on parts of our state but they really are not that bright in Mentor OH. To that guy, it was probably a normal night after leaving the bar.
  2. State parks in Ohio can be hit or miss. We like some sites at Alum Creek and Shawnee. Deer creek is OK but there is not a lot near the CG. Have not been to East Harbor or Ceasers Creek but heard both are nice. AW Marion could be a nice campground but it doesnt look like it has much TLC since the day it was opened and there is almost no one ever in there (not friendly to rigs much over 20ft). Tar Hollow can take larger rigs but there are no pads for the trailer and rain makes everything soupy there. It seems that some SP CG's don't accommodate larger rigs well and most have few to no full hooku
  3. Got mine and sorted through them. Here is what my extras are. Does anyone need one of these before I send them back? Some were opened to test fit but will sell them for what I paid ($22) plus shipping to you. 1 child's xs 2 adult large 1 women's xl
  4. Never been to dollywood but we normally hit the smokies once a year. We normally stay up in elkmont. No hookup but there are generator loops. Been there with and without a generator and it is great. It is about a 20 minute drive at max over the Gatlinburg bypass from pigeon forge. We have drove through the rv parks in pigeon forge and have not been impressed. There are a bunch out I believe 321 to the east of gatlinburg. Some were rated well on good Sam and they looked nice when we drove by a few months back. I will probably always stay at elkmont though. It is my happy place in the smokies.
  5. Hope it eventually hits WDW and not just Disneyland. Would be really cool to see I'm person. http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/7291520?ncid=txtlnkusaolp00000592
  6. Got my email today. Mine show up Monday as well. Can't wait
  7. Did you get the tires from the dealer? GM says they won't unless bought from them which is BS. So I will be firing of a couple letters. Dealer was not able to get the "mopar" version as it was discontinued. When he printed off the details, it was the michelin ltx's I put on there. They said if I got them somewhere else they would recalibrate the pinion which took care of the speedo, traction control, modified transmission shift points, and something else I can't remember. I ended up getting the tires from discount tire. They were $311.99 a piece mounted and balanced with disposal of the old
  8. When we grew up, my parents took us to a few places. We frequented the fort as well as elkmont in the smoky mountains. When we were not there, we stayed at a lot of state parks around us in ohio. Our out of state trips were to historic places like Gettysburg. Out of all the things I remember from our trips, my fondest was getting off of i4 and passing through the wdw gate heading towards the fort. It wasn't until later in life that I started to appreciate the historic towns and national parks. My wife visited every state by the time she was 18. While she enjoys talking about how they were in
  9. Ahhh... don't tell me that. I actually ordered 3 different sizes for myself, hoping that one would fit... haha :) Did the same thing. Ordered 2 for each of us. One normal size and one 2 sizes up. Hope one of them fits.
  10. Looks great. I like the "shoe storage" under the entertainment area. Other than the bathroom, you forgot one big picture, we want to see a picture of that skylight that gave you all those problems.

  12. Ended up putting Michelin Ltx m/s 2 tires on. Size is lt275/65r20. The extra height requires a recalibration of the speedo. Dealer is doing that this afternoon. I have no rubbing on anything but they do fill the wheel wells quite a bit.
  13. Sitting here waiting to get another set of new tires on my 2013 Ram 1500. Not happy considering I just did this 6 months ago. So why am I buying new tires already? Well when I bought them 6 months ago, they were the highest load rated tire I could find in my size and the local tire shop ensured me that they were truck tires. I should have known better when the tire said p instead of lt on them. Regardless, I got about 8000 miles on them and the sidewalls are shot from towing the TT. Best part is the company I bought them from closed so I have no recourse (since they gave me the these are truck
  14. Ordered my shirts a few minutes ago. I ordered a few in my normal size and then a few in the size right above. Did the same for my wife and kids. Figured if something didn't fit, I could either sell it to someone who may have missed the order window on here or just return it.
  15. Cant wait to see pics and see how you like it once it is yours. Things from my purchasing experience last year that bit me in the rear (which is why it was in the shop for 8 months). We bought ours sight unseen and it was still on order from the factory. It was pouring down rain when we picked it up and did the inspection so looking for leaks was easy (and thank god there were none). However, because the service bays were full we had to do the inspection outside. We semi rushed the outside inspection and did a detailed inspection on the inside. Guess where we found problems when we got home
  16. Heres the million dolls question, were you on your way to the fort?
  17. I know more about the windjammer than the Laredo. I have towed a windjammer and it towed very easy on a vehicle where it was at its limits. The vnose helps a lot in the aerodynamic department and also helps to reduce sway. I have towed a unit similar to the Laredo and it was more difficult to tow. We have a Rockwood 8312ss and have had really good luck with it. We did have one issue which was not a big problem that Rockwood addressed quickly. I prefer the appliance brands in the Rockwood over the ones in the Keystone. Seems to be easier to work on/find parts when needed. Rockwood is known for
  18. Ray, Your idea sounds interesting and cost saving. Going to each country and buying 1 beer and getting an extra cup and splitting it with someone. May work well. I was thinking of betting the BIL a beer from Germany that he couldn't make it all the way around. Knowing him, he would do it, get rushed to the emergency room, and return back to Epcot for that free beer on my from Germany. I am not a big drinker anymore but the wife still enjoys a drink or two. She said if the BIL does the tour, she is in.
  19. Starting to pull together some things we are wanting to do for our trip coming up. For the past few years, my BIL and Wife have been talking about conquering the beer tour of the world at Epcot. The BIL tried it 2 times starting at Mexico and never made it past Germany both times (something to do with how much he loves German beer). Aside from starting at Canada and going the other way around, what can I recommend or do to get him past the Germany hump? Has anyone on the board been able to complete the tour and how long did it take? Has anyone ever been tossed from Epcot for attempting the tou
  20. Glad to hear everything is working out for you. Hopefully the skylight was a factory install. I would assume that CW would have been able to provide the build sheet for the camper. That would have shown the exact options from Jayco as well. I do think calling the factory with the VIN to confirm is a great way to confirm. Also gives you peace of mind that they will back it if there is any issues. Post pics once she is all yours.
  21. You can't put a price on the kids happiness. When I grew up, we were at the fort 3 to 4 times a year from the time we were born up to the time we hit middle school. Now that I have kids, I understand why we were there so much. For kids it is a fail proof vacation. Maybe not for the adults at times but for the kids it is. We enjoyed it growing up and the one time my kids have been there (DD at 1 year old and DS at 4 years old) they really enjoyed it (mostly the trips on the monorail and boats which are free). I know when I make my reservations, I cringe every time I hit the submit button beca
  22. Travelzoo has last minute deal going on now for tickets. Not sure if it is a good deal or not compared to other discount sites. Figured I would pass it along if it hasn't been posted yet. I didn't see anything here on it. http://www.travelzoo.com/local-deals/Orlando/Other/140304
  23. Derek, If you liked the Gulf Stream, you may want to check out the Rockwood 8310SS. Similar floorplan to the Gulf Stream but it is all aluminum construction. We have a Rockwood 8312SS and love it. It is well built and had a great list of options and features. Regardless of what you decide, make sure your town vehicle can pull it safely. Good luck in your search and let us all know what you decide on. Ryan
  24. We buy our gift cards at Giant Eagle and get the .20 fuel perks. Buy enough to get a free tank of gas, go outside and fill up the truck, go back in and buy another round and save the points. Use the points on the way to the fort to get a second free tank of gas. When hauling the camper, free gas is nice. Last trip I spent almost an hour on the phone reading off $15 and $25 gift cards. Our local Giant Eagle runs out of $50 and over quickly so I usually buy up their entire stock of smaller cards. That and the small ones make good presents for the nephews who usually go with us. Thanks, Ryan
