  1. We used ratchet straps to fold the mattress in half like a taco that I pictured above. That's why we're content to leave it there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. When we got our new king bed several months ago we took the queen pillow top mattress our bodies were used to and jammed it into where the bed was. It was such a pain to get it in there that we decided it's staying in there whenever finances allow a new camper, but at least we're comfortable now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. The looks of the burger kinda of reminds me of Fuddruckers. I know there are a couple in the Orlando area so I'm not sure if you've ever ate there or not and are able to compare. I've never ate at the Orlando locations either but have at at one in VA and one here in Chambersburg, PA and Hummlestown (Hershey), PA.
  4. Great TR. the pics of the freeloaders tick me off and I don't even use any pools. Here's an update on that bonfire as of 5 minutes ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. No, I did not harvest those. I do not like the taste of goose or duck. I won't go into how I found out what a goose tastes like but it wasn't from a restaurant/butcher shop. As for that bonfire, I won't be cooking anything over it. We added about 25 more 30+ year old pressure treated wood boards to what was already there in that picture and I'm not sure what all nastiness is going to be in the smoke from those boards.
  6. Check out the wawa that were in my backyard yesterday lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. They are truck stops/travel plazas Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. http://www.walmartlocator.com/no-park-walmarts/ Hopefully the link is right because I'm posting from my phone but it should give you a list of where overnight parking at Walmart is not allowed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wawa,_Pennsylvania We don't have a WaWa in my section of PA, but I have a Sheetz 3/4 of a mile from me and a Royal Farms 7 miles away. Although, I am quite familiar with the WaWas in Ocean City, Maryland and Westminster, Maryland and they are quite superior in sandwich/sub quality then the Royal Farms in both those cities or the one near me. WaWa definitely blows away Sheetz. However, Royal Farms chicken is awesome and I think TCD may like their steak fries if he ever samples them. I'm not really a fan of steak fries, but I'll eat them from Roy
  10. Wow...I'm just a little less sad now that we had to cancel. Just a little. I'd be really bummed about not getting to ride BTMRR and CoP is a much needed stop to rest my blazing heel spurs.
  11. Tell them to turn on the battery saver in the settings of that App. At least that's what I heard a friend say to do :)
  12. Most any road within the borders of Pennsylvania. There was one section of US 15 above New Buffalo that was new concrete but it made it feel like I had a flat. I pulled over twice within 4 miles just to make sure none of the tires were flat.
  13. The bank I work for recommends a 3-4 business day notice. All financial institutions have different parameters though.
  14. That is what needs to be done by the consumer whenever you travel. The bank I work for strives to inform our customers that you should notify us prior to travelling with your date and prospective locales where you will be using your debit/credit cards. Once that's done there's never been any issue of a declined card. I don't bank at the bank that employs me but I use a credit union and inform them as well of my travels. Never had a problem anywhere or anytime once I inform them of the dates and locations. I know Chase and Capital One has this option as well on their websites as I notified
  15. I've become allergic to alcohol. 1 drink with hard liquor and I will develop red blotches on my face. 2 beers, same thing. Colognes and perfumes get me as well. I also have trouble going into craft stores like Michaels as I had the same things happen to me as you did in Harbor Freight. I've also noticed with the last month that working on my cars is starting to affect me. Seems like 45 minutes into smelling one of the old cars I feel it. Thankfully it hasn't got to me yet while driving them. When that day comes, well we won't think of that yet.
  16. The Ford sustained the worse of the damage unfortunately. Moreso because we're trying to sell it as my wife hasn't found another full time job yet and unemployment has been unreliable. I had a guy who was supposed to come tonight to look at it but he bailed out after I told him what happened. Too bad I didn't hit the camper hard enough to roll it over into the little creek beside the driveway and the gap insurance could total it. Save me $250/month :)
  17. I've never had the Dole Whip. Always wanted one. It's a good thing I saw this thread. I think I can try this with cow milk. The coconut allergy is pretty recent. I noticed it around 2010. I also just recently became allergic to cherries. Last year ate a cherry pie and about 10 minutes later, my throat started to constrict and my eyes became itchy, (just like with coconuts) and well I forgot about that happening until today. At work, we had a cherry pie. 10 minutes later same issue as before. I forgot all about it. Loaded myself up with Benadryl to counter act it.
  18. Except for the coconut milk part. I'm allergic to coconuts. It looks like the original does have coconut oil (thanks for posting that TCD) so no Dole Whip for me ever....
  19. Wait. Does the real authentic recipe use coconut milk? Anyone know for sure?
  20. Also, there's no picture or video proof of it happening and I'm posting about this publicly for the first time but I had a camper related bad day on Sunday. The 5er is directly in the way of backing any of my cars out of the garage. Usually, my wife stands back near the camper and lets me know when to stop so I can pull forward and turn the wheel and then back up again to straighten out so I can drive out of the driveway. My driveway is "L" shaped. So the garage is the bottom part of the L. Anyway, my wife took my truck to work as her car was at work still from the night before because wel
  21. I saw that on another rv forum and that turned into a peeing war about if it would've been a Ford or Dodge, he wouldn't have gotten stuck. Sometimes people need to forget to pay their internet bill.
  22. It's not just the proximity to Universal. They have limited rights East of the Mississippi. http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2015/10/18/disney-is-taking-too-long-to-add-marvel-to-disney.aspx Here is the original contract (still in effect) between Marvel and MCA. https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1262449/000119312510008732/dex1057.htm
  23. Oops ghost post. Sorry. That water still looks amazing.
  24. I think there was one day in March where we didn't need it. :)
