  1. wow, this was the week the wife and I were supposed to be at the Fort but we had to have Jason cancel our stay after my wife lost her job. I think that I might have even joked with Jason about a hurricane showing up the week we were there. I know I did with my wife when we were making the plans.
  2. Thanks. After doing a little research it appears that you two are correct about the eyes. So that puts my mind a little more at ease. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Now they call that dapper day, don't they? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I don't think she was sleeping when she passed as her eyes weren't closed . but she was lying in her normal position while in her kennel. Of the four dogs, she was by a slight margin my favorite over Minnie and I think my wife's favorite since the passing of Belle. She really knew how to fill in the gap after both Wrigley's and Belle's passing last year. Last night and tonight have been weird without her at my wife's bedtime. Every night she would do this weird rubbing/flopping around/dancing moves for a few minutes before my wife could climb in bed
  5. Last night Sushi started to have this really bad hacking cough and her breathing became rapid. Knowing she has a heart murmur I started to fear the worst. We didn't really sleep well through the night due to worrying about her. Both my wife and I weren't able to take off from work today but I went in late to keep an eye on her and I set up a vet appointment for 6:30 for her and Minnie. I got home at 5 and when I opened the door I knew something was amiss. I didn't hear her barking with the other dogs. I immediately went to her kennel and saw her just lying there. She had died not too long befo
  6. Isn't the procedure now cheaper then a days admission price? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Waze is awesome until it takes you down a narrow country road with a one lane covered bridge with a 9 foot clearance and you have to back up with the 5er. Don't ask me how I know. I own a Rand McNally 7715 but I didn't have it on that trip because the charger cable for it got broken a day or 2 before the trip.
  8. Derek, You may want to add a couple of more drives to your plan and check on them frequently. I had two Western Digital external drives that I saved all of the pictures on. I last checked on them right before Christmas of last year and they were fine. I drug them back out last month to put more pics on and neither were accessible by any computer in my house or any of my work laptops. I have one more option of breaking the enclosures they are in and then placing the drives in my hard drive dock but I'm afraid to find out that won't work either and I've lost everything.
  9. You might like this one a little better for the hitch weight. http://www.forestriverinc.com/product-details.aspx?LineID=169&ShowParent=1&ModelID=2767#Main This is a candidate for us because I wouldn't have to upgrade my truck. Even if all the weights were maxed, which they wouldn't even be close to, I could still pull it safely.
  10. You can see the part of it where he already smacked it on his knee...
  11. The Geek is strong with this one...!
  12. I laughed at the murphy bed guy. I laughed hard at him. Sadly, he's probably already reproduced and I have a bad feeling his brood is a cluster of guidos
  13. I agree. The one on Disney: America is most interesting to me. That would've have been about 85 miles south of me and I think what has happened to that area now is more detrimental to the Manassas (Bull Run) Battlefield then a seasonal Disney Park would have done.
  14. Just saw this video on youtube that was published a couple of days ago. Most of you probably already know about these, but I found it interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OE42_V7RWbc
  15. Not only do they touch our lives and we remember them for a long time, I just became convinced Wednesday night that other animals can remember their companions as well. I keep Wrigley's remains on my computer desk and her collar with a bell sits on top of the box. She has been there since end of April 2015. Well, I noticed there was dust on the collar and her ornate box so I picked the collar up and shook it off which made the bell jingle as if she was wearing it again. I've posted on here before how Rolo our dwarf Boxer and Wrigley were best friends. When the bell jingled, Rolo came runn
  16. I'm sad to hear about the losses in this thread. I agree the Rainbow Bridge has been seeing too many Fiend pets lately. They leave a hole that is hard to mend.

  19. To expand on what I said about having my cat with us is we were charged $5 per day for each dog. We had 4 with us. But we only got charged $5 and only $5 for the cat. I remember the CM asking to pet the cat because he could hear her breathing (it sounded like snoring. this was 1.5 month before the surgery to remove the abscess from her nose). When we got set up I took wrigley out of the crate and put her paws on the concrete pad. My wife gave me a look because she knows I was over protective of her being outside but I said to her smartly "if they're charging for Wrigley I at least want h
  20. We were in the pet loop because of the dogs, but we were also charged a one time $5 extra for the cat.
  21. Only 3 posts on this board and your expressed sole reason for joining is for bashing a well respected outside vendor. Your line "I may even annoy Disney a bit about off property rentals" is really telling. Are you the guy in charge of renting carts at the fort or is it one of your relatives who is a cast member in charge of the golf cart rentals?
  22. To this day, I still don't know what that other site is, but would be happy to help report a DMCA violation. I had a few eBay users banned for using company pictures in their ebay auctions. I've had some very crappy few weeks. I'm more then willing to have some deserving people share in my craptacular wealth.
