  1. What a wonderful trip report the girls look like they has a great time on the slide I love the shots of Anna in the slide they looked like shots of fear and fun. We still have not planned anything for next year and a Tn GG would look like a good trip. Any love the trip report you take great pictures.
  2. In the D.C area the most recomended campground is Cherry Hill, it is right near the highway but I have never heard of to many complaints, they also help you plan yor tours. As far as Williamsburg goes most people suggest American Heritage Campground a little bit out of the tourist area but not bad, I would not use Anvil Campground unless you like trains as a lot of their sites back up to a busy train line.

  10. The wife says i am anal about keeping the camper in great shape, I wash the roof at least twicw each year, inspect in the sring and fall. I also carry a roll of Enterbond tape and tubes of Dicor, always have and hardly ever need it, but others have. The last camper we had a leake around the skylight, removed the old caulk, recaulked it seeled it with Enterbond coulked the edges os the tape( told you I was anal) then traded it in. The dealer was cleaning snow of the roof when they sold it and stepped thru the skylight!!!!!!!!!!! They said they had a hell of a time getting the old skylight out,
  11. If any one is interested in trains they should take The Magic Behind the Steam backstage tour at the MK it is a very interesting tour plus you learn alot about Walt's home railroad. I also got the book about Carolwood Railroad and it has some great pictures of it.

  15. Dave you and your family are very special people who made your family even better, my sister was a special ed teacher also who was never blessed with children of her own but you would never know it the way she spoke of all her students. We lost her when she was only 30 years of age but even though she could not have children she always said there were plenty of them that needed her.
  16. Wonderful pictures thanks for posting them, and all I can say is that was a lucky banana
  17. I know 301 runs back and forth just was not sure where I quess that answers my question thanks.
  18. How far would it be to get to Rt301 from there,or is that not an option. We used 301 last year from our stop over on the way home from Ga. to S.C. and it was a very nice drive, just wondering.
  19. Thanks for a wonderful trip report now we have a few new things to add to our list to see on our next trip, thanks again.
  20. Like said before a seasonal site feels like you are always on vacation, also there are good and bad things if you do not like your neighbor it is not as easy to relocate, good thing is not setting up and down all the time, I think it is a great idea I was a seasonal for a few years and it was great, had a spot in South Jersey near the beach it was the cheapest way to stay at the beach. It was so good I even met my wife in the campground over 25 years ago and we are planning on becomeing full timers in a few years. I say go for it!!!!!!!!!!!!
