We leave from Delaware and we have used Yogi Bear in Emporium Va.( close railroad tracks), Carolina RV Resort in Roanoke Rapids, Bass lake Dillon SC & South of the Border and also Green Acres in Walterboro SC all close to 95 and all goreat for an overnite stop.

Have you checked on trying to register it in Maine?I have some friends that have done this with their farm trailers both stock & flatbeds and it is a 1 time non- expiring license plate, some said they were going to try it with their campers but I have not heard if they have yet or not. Just a thought.

I have heard both good and bad on Lake in Woods, Out of the 3 in that area we like Oak Creek for us sites are very roomy and easy to get in, we get along great with the owners and they treat are group very well. We have never tried Lake in Woods so I can not comment on it either way, just what I've read, maybe we will give it a try someday. We are not to fond of Sun Valley, not a bad place we just do not seem to like it there.

The hemp that the twins have (I think) up where we live they call it gimp, the kids braid it and make things like bracelets out of it, it looks like the same stuff. I could be wrong just ask my wife she tells me that all the time.

We will be at Oak Creek Campground in Bowmansville Pa near Maple Grove Dragway.

Can you let us know which KOA as we are always looking another good campground, maybe we can get lucky and it's close to home.

Leaving this Thursday for Cape May NJ 4-5 nights, then to Lancaster Pa. for6 nights. Leave July 1st for a 3 week trip then another week in August. I guess Labor Day somehere ( I hope) then a long weekend in Oct. to Knoebles with the rest of the week somewhere between there and home.

When we go to Knoble's for their Covered Bridge Festival there is a vendo that sells roasted corn on the cob, comes in the husk but they dip it in butter, then you can add any seasoning you want,they have salt& pepper, garlic salt and the other one I can remember was Old Bay. There is a line there all day long all weekend long. Who would have thought this would be a big draw.

Great another TCD trip report already, I just wish we could get to DW as much as the TCD gang.

The campers with the goverment tags are most likely rentals available for milatary and also the emloyees at milatary bases, I have spoke with some when I have seen them at campgrounds, they get really good rental rates also.
