Wow, love all the arm chair quaterbacks and dispatchers.  Per NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Acceptable response time is within 7 minutes.  When was 911 actually called? was it immediately or was there the norm of let me take pictures because someone else probably called?  Once 911 call was recieved it should take 1 minute to dispatch the call. When the call goes off we have 1 minute to get to out engine, get out gear on, get on the truck, and start rolling, (2 minutes lost right there) once on the road we have to deal with drivers that can not, will not, or just dont care that there is a very large truck with lots of flashing lights behind them, because they are on their cell phone, texting, audtioning for the voice by singing with the song on the radio, shoving a cheeseburger in their mouth, or just making a unpredicted turn in front of on coming traffic because they missed their turn.  Besides all that, was the closer apparatus already commited to another call in thier district causing the incoming engine to respond from the far side of the property?

I'm sorry but 7 minutes is acceptable in my eyes, my issue the tactics used once onscene.

And many years later, the would be giving tours of the fiend battle field, where the north and the south meet in a final confrontation that was a gastrointestinal massacre!

As long as you are with you child, you are allowed to assist him in casting, setting the hook, and minimal assistance in reeling the fish in with out a FL

We arrived at the fort about two hours ago and my husband was already almost in a fist fight. My family (sans Momma and Baby) we riding their bikes through the loop (200) and they were yelled at to get out of the way. Now my 8 year old is just learning how to ride without training wheels - he is a bit "all over the place" - but come on - yelling at a little guy to get out of the way - hold your freakin horses. All I can say is that guy is lucky it wasnt Momma bear on the lead bike - he would be having an 18 speed surgically removed right about now.

I wanted to take a moment out and advise people to please make sure who you are doing business with and the terms of doing business with this entity. I had planned a long three weekend camping trip at Fort Wilderness and after reading the rave reviews about Tee Time decided to rent a cart from them. The other day the other family that was going to join us had to back out because their 17 year old son has to have surgery on a torn ligament the week of the planned camping trip. I emailed Tee Time 12 days in advance and asking them to advise me what the cancellation charge would be (I was expecting like 30% or so).
Much to my surprise it was the full amount. They charged my credit card that evening without letting me know. The other family reserved a cart at Disney and ended up paying nothing for cancellation. As a travel agent I expected some cancellation fee based on the wording of the cancellation policy but in fact Tee Time charges the full amount if cancelled wihtin 14 days of the reservation and 30% of cancelled prior to that 14 day period.
Moral of the story - know what you are agreeing to and sometimes what seems to be a good deal isn't. Tee Time isn't a good deal and I will never use them again nor will I recommend them to any of my clients.
    Happy Camping!!!
