  1. I loved Food Rocks, I think it was 95 or 96 when I saw it. Never saw KK I don't think. I miss being able to show it to my boys. AS I also miss the Cranium Command.
  2. The Patty-o-mat brand is one we used and it lasted 8 years before we had to replace it. They are made from the same material the coffee stir sticks are made from. We just bought another one and love them. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the one at Walmart they are the same thing. Camping World was giving out free carrying cases at one time. Makes it nice when you have to pack them up wet. When it gets really nasty we just hang it on the deck and spray it off with the hose. Dries quickly in the sun and breeze.
  3. I have seen poorly constructed hoses burst around the fitting and while it isn't in the camper it can create a big mess. Turning of the spigot when you are gone is very important. I want to kick myself when I return to the camper and realize I forgot to do it.
  4. This is one of our favorite places to eat and sit. It is also a good place to watch the parades from. Thanks for the happy reminder!
  5. Awesome report Bob! Thanks for sharing your wit and wisdom through words, it is appreciated.
  6. Ray we will be at the Fort from the 24th of may till the 3rd of June. We will post our site # when we get there. It would be great if you could stop by. The more Fiends we can meet the better.
  7. Sweet! I love it when you can still touch the heart of a teenager. Glad you had a great trip.
  8. Thanks for the report it is a great way to start the day! Warning: useless information: Lou or someone else may chime in on this with better information, but IIRC at one time TTC was the hub for all buses and you had to go there to transfer to another bus line, that was in 98 I believe, then around 2000 DTD became a transfer spot and sometime after that you could no longer go to a resort from a resort or from anywhere that wasn't a theme park. Anyone else recall this?
  9. My prodigy sits at about 50 degrees vertical from level and is slightly turned from straight forward due to the curves in the dash board. It works great with a 3500 lb camper. Go out to an empty parking lot and give it a try.
  10. Strangely, I am attracted to the idea of going to see the Muppet Movie on Friday. I guess I am still just a kid at heart. That Volvo tent almost looked two stories. Wow. Very selfless of the twins to split up that way, I would have still been fighting with my sibling over it. Oh wait, I was an only brat, I never had to share. That probably explains statement #1 Oh well, It was good to be a young YC.
  11. I am in and sadly excitedly waiting to hear more of what we missed out on.
  12. TCD, loving the early morning tour. I will make it a point to get up that early one morning and just wander the area by myself. Carol, awesome picture!
  13. A quiet night, left over fried chicken, and a beer at the Fort. It is good to be TCD for sure. Even if you got whipped at TSM. What happened to never taking it easy on the kids. I guess pay back has been coming.
  14. The "fall out zone" may be truthful. On one of our trips we were able to sit there and few nights later they didn't let anyone sit there because of the direction of the wind. We were standing there with a CM at the hold back rope, when the "fire marshall" came up and told the CM that we couldn't use that are the wind was blowing too hard in that direction. If it is a nightly decision, then they will have to have an alternate location for the desert party on nights the wind is blowing too hard.
  15. We like the 2000 loop and have had no noise troubles in 3 trips. The 2000 loop has more space and is nice towards the back of the loop. The 1500 is smaller and seems more crowded to me, but it is closer to the pool. We have also stayed in the 1400 and liked it as well.
  16. Thanks for the double update today. I like the Utah floor plan almost better than my Bayside either way the fact we still have our campers with roofs in tact makes us lucky! Keep on posting and I will keep on reading...
  17. Late in the evening, but I am in none the less. The only thing worse than setting up a pop up in the rain is taking it down in the rain. Glad it stopped for you. We have had the same experience the last two trips to the Fort. I guess we Bayside owners get all the luck! YC
  18. Congrats on the visit! Let us know how it goes. I hope your travel was uneventful. Don't forget about Defeated Creek in the Fall. You are so close it would be ashamed to not take advantage of meeting some more Fiends.
  19. I see Todd's video is from e-trailer. I just want to pass on that I have had great experience ordering items from them. The ship fast and all items have been first rate. I highly recommend them for your trailer needs.
