  1. Yep, and she still would love to spend the day there. If there is money in it for Disney, there is a chance she will get to one day.
  2. My wife would love to spend the day there!
  3. Awesome to hear you are getting to go back. 8 years is a long time and it will make this trip feel even more special. Enjoy!
  4. We love riding our bikes around the Fort and the campfire in the evening.
  5. Well not very original but it is one of the loops I have stayed in besides the 1500 and 2000, the 1400 loop Big Bear and Little Bear Paths can be Kenai and Koda from Brother Bear. I did like the site we had there it was very close to the bath house and the campfire and movie area.
  6. Having spent most of my time in both of those loops, I like your thoughts. I am not too creative but i will give this some thought and see what I can come up with. I think this is a cool idea for the shortened daylight hours we have now.
  7. Wow, more great info. Thanks. Our family is so excited for this short trip. The only bummer is it is too short to make it worth dragging the trailer to stay at the Fort.
  8. Thanks for tips TCD we will put them all to use. I hope you have a safe trip to Disneyland and l am looking forward to reading about it. We will be there this summer.
  9. We just bought passes for the Oct. 18th show. We are going to be in Orlando for a long weekend. Any other Fiends going to be at that show? We are MNSSHP first timers, so we are really looking forward to seeing something new at WDW.
  10. Looking forward to reading more. Darn computers, can't live with them, can't live without them.
  11. We love the Crockpot and liners for camping too.
  12. We bought our 2002 PUP in 2006. There were some minor issues that needed dealt with but I could do all of them. New key lock on the door, clean the dirt dauber nests out of the furnace, change out the sink faucet. We paid $6000 for it. We still have it and it is going strong. Sad to say we will be parting with it next spring for a bigger rig. Set up and take down can be as little as 20-30 min and as much as 1.5 hours. Depends on how much you want to do. I also find I take a lot of stuff out little by little and that makes the packing up longer. If you can get a unit with a slide out
  13. Enjoying the read as usual. Thanks for the report!
  14. Thanks for the report. We loved Pensacola when we stayed at Fort Pickens. We saw that camground but we have a popup and knew it was out of bounds for us. Hope you had a blast.
  15. Back on topic, we have been at the Fort for Thanksgiving 3 times. We have made the Hollywood Brown Derby our Thanksgiving tradition. We typically got a late dinner time and then were able to go to the Osborne family lights with almost no crowds. Our Bellies were full and the streets were empty and we got to enjoy Thanksgiving and look forward to Christmas. Not a home cooked meal but it is one of our favorite memories. Below is a picture we took in 2012 after eating at Brown Derby on Thanksgiving. Notice there is no one else in the shot. If you aren't resolved to a home cooked meal I hi
