  1. Reservations for Wild Africa Trek can be arranged by calling 407-WDW-TOUR (939-8687). Pricing for this unique adventure will vary seasonally. Guests who reserve a booking from January 16 through February 26, 2011, may take advantage of an introductory offer starting at $129. Park admission is required for participants.
  2. Good advice, I see it every single day. Guests late for ADRs because they didn't allow enough time. WDW transportation is mass transit and it has all of the negatives that come with it.
  3. Hello Rick, some advice, run away. These people are nuts. But in a good way. 30 minutes away, in which direction.
  4. Below is the property wide resort smoking policy. Notice the penalty if the policy is ignored. Smoking at all Disney Resorts is restricted to designated outdoor smoking areas. Smoking is prohibited in Guest rooms (including the patio or balcony), restaurants, ballrooms, and all other indoor and outdoor common areas. A $250 - $500 room recovery fee, plus tax, (based on the resort and room type) will be charged for smoking in Guest rooms, on balconies or on patios. This fee covers a deep cleaning to include air filter replacement, carpet extraction, and the cleaning or replacing of drapes, co
  5. Didn't know that. But we've had our share of huge Vet bills. 4K for Buddy's emergency gall bladder removal surgery, and counting. Worth every penny.
  6. Wow Monique, you've got an emergency room for pets. I think you have a special situation with 3 big active dogs. Our little guy is 7 years old this month and has not had an injury. He's in the house 99% of the time. Can only be let out in the pool area and that's a very safe area, unless he falls in. And he's the only pet. Here is a phone number for what I believe to be the closest Vet to the Fort 407-846-3912. They're Buddy's Vet. After hours 407-438-4449
  7. Good memory Lorna. Nice place, but like too many govt. run parks, it's not geared for the larger class As. I think I can handle a big rig as well as anyone and I had a heck of a time getting our 40 footer in without scratching it on the palm trees that line the site. Plus if you've spent all that money on a class A, you want to make full use of it. With no sewer hookup or cable, it takes away from the experience. Too bad, we liked it other than that. It needs to be upgraded for the 40 foot plus newer rigs.
  8. Never done TSM. Couldn't even tell you where it is at HS.
  9. It took me a few minutes, but I got it. You actually listen to the PA.
  10. Watch it Bob. I know people, even in TN. Perry was Italian.
  11. This thread is giving me a new awareness of what it's like to have a child with Autism. There is one post that spoke about their daughter reaching adulthood and doing pretty well. Is that typical or do most struggle in later life?
  12. The 9:30 pm Hoop de Doo Musical Revue at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground for Sunday, February 6 and Monday, February 7, 2011 has been cancelled.
  13. Is Frank channeling through you?
  14. I wonder if it has something to do with the renovations going on at PO? I'll have to drive there in my car to check it.
  15. #150, welcome Brent. I would like to know, and not counting Chris & Jen, who is the first member. Who's #1.
  16. Hey, no one said that this quiz was going to involve advanced math, no fair.
  17. They don't give a start date for the new show other than March, but the "Playhouse Disney Live on Stage" refurbishment project is scheduled not to be completed until March 5th. Schedules are fluid so who knows. There is always a chance that the new show could start earlier.
  18. Welcome, for whatever reason there is a handful of Fiends that have not joined us, but the vast majority are here now and then some.
