Working at WDW, and for a lot more than a year, hasn't thought me anything about how to deal with gays because there was nothing to learn.
I attempt to treat everyone as I want to be treated.
However, I'm for, don't ask, don't tell, and don't flaunt it, no matter your preference.

    No you won't.
Can you even remember that far back?
Make sure you wear a red T shirt too.

Officially, the Disney company is neutral, however, due to the nature of the business, a disproportionate number of gays work at WDW. And though it's not done under the Disney name, those CMs, some of which are in management positions, are very involved in the planning, promoting, and participation of the event.
It wouldn't be what it is without the involvement and looking the other way of thousands of WDW CMs.

I think the limit is 3000 feet over the parks. So I guess even the banner planes could fly over the parks.
At that height, you might not be able to read the banner.
While I fall into the, I don't want to see it or hear it, side of the issue, do they think that people who spent thousands of dollars and took time off from work are not going to the parks if they're made aware of what's going on that week? If I found myself in that predicament, I'd take my chances and work around it.

I make a point of not doing the parks during that time, so I don't know.
On the buses during the day time hours, nothing stands out as unusual.
I think if any unacceptable behavior were going on, in a full bus, the other riders would make their feelings known and so would I.

Who are you and did I meet you?
    More like stalking.
Like you and her don't have enough to do.
I didn't know you had left until I looked around at the potluck and didn't see you guys.
    Hey, where's Marty and family?
I saw a number of people taking pictures. I'm sure you'll see a ton of them once everyone is back home.
Anyway, there were so many Fiends there yesterday that it took me most of the afternoon to chat with them at their sites.
The ones that I didn't catch up with, I saw at the potluck later that night.
And speaking of the potluck, just an amazing variety of great food and I mean great food.
As a professional moocher, I took full advantage of it. Even If I had brought something, I'm sure I'd be bringing most of it back home.
Thick steaks, a couple of different sausages and brats, brisket, pasta dishes, sauerkraut, potato salad, pulled pork, mac and cheese, pies, cakes and much more.
And speaking of steak, our resident steak grilling guru, Rick, Carol's hubby, came all the way from Alabama, grilled the steaks, but had to return home last night as he had a commitment.
Wow, what can you say about Rick that hasn't been said.
He's looking slimmer and trimmer. He's lost, I believe he told me it was 40 or 45 lbs so far. Good for him. We want him to be around for a long time. I'm sure I speak for everyone, thanks Rick, you're a special person.
A big shout-out to Holly (MicknMIn). She made great looking and detailed, what are called Redneck wineglasses for the ladies. They were personalized with their names. How generous is that.
I need to get my hands on one of those.
And Lorna gave attendees of the last WWW a mounted photo of the participants.
As I stopped by the WWW for a quick visit, Lorna gave me one with a photo that I was in.
It was pleasure to meet Ryan, Joana, and their little boy Trent. They're the recipients of this years FHF project.
Judy, Ken, and the three kids stopped in for the afternoon and that's no easy feat.
I saw more than one person shake their head in disbelief and amazment at the unbelievable work they both do for the kids. There are no words.
Jen, Chris, and CJ finally showed up safely. They were in great spirits considering what they had been through.
    All's well that ends well.
So many Fiends, many cute kids, cute dogs, so much food, does it get any better?

Both of the twins drawings are very good, but are you sure that you're their dad. You're drawing is terrible. Did you loose an eye or something?
From your vantage point it doesn't look like much is going on at the GF, but there is if you get closer.
I can see over the walls from the bus and things are moving along quite well.

That makes more sense because that's where the parade floats are staged.
I'm still skeptical because why would Disney have SM floats out in the open and parade a tour group past it?
Bringing back the SM parade is a major change and Disney is usually very secretive about stuff like that.

That's true, I call big, big, BS on the person that said they saw the floats backstage near SM.
I attribute it to the "I was behind the scenes and you know what I saw" mentality. I guess it makes them feel like they're reporting some earth shattering news.
There are so many reasons that makes that story baloney.

I like them all, US, SW, and BG. IMO they're all great. Not sure of Legoland though, haven't been yet.
My favorite attraction Disney or otherwise is by far the WWOHP at US.

The GF project is moving along nicely. You can see it's progress from the MK.
The FL expansion and Avatarland are huge projetcs, so I'm not looking for anything that will rival those anytime soon.
IMO, HS and Epcot really need something new though.
I thought considering who it was, I was pretty safe in doing it.
    That's a great story Pam.

Reality check, prices are going up across the board. They always do and probably will, sooner rather than later.
I can always use a raise. Think of it in that context, more money for poor old Lou's later years. OK, even later years.

We use mostly shortened versions of the names instead of acronyms.
The All-Stars resort is just Stars, the Grand Floridian is "The Grand", Hollywood Studios is Studios, the Magic Kingdom is just Magic.
But so far they seem to be using an acronym for The Art of Animation resort, DAAR.

The buses that show up at the Fort, in the morning only, with marquees that read HS or AK/BB are actually dispatched from the MK and are part of the MK bus allotment.
They drop off the guests that were picked up at the Fort at either HS or AK, then continue on to a resort that's near those parks and pick up for the MK. They don't pick up guests at either park for the MK.
If you knew which buses they were and got on it, you could theoretically go from either of those parks directly to MK bypassing TTC.
In other words, if I'm working out of the MK and even though there aren't buses that pick up at the Fort for MK, it is possible to take a bus from the Fort and end up at MK, via a stop at HS or AK, plus a stop at a resort before returning to MK.
And no, don't do it unless you can't take the boat ride. Although on a good day, the HS bus might actually beat the boat over to MK.
The opposite is true. Buses belonging to AK pick up at the nearest resorts to AK and pick up for MK and HS.
