Quite a few love bugs on the car in northern FL today, but I haven't seen any at WDW. The flies weren't noticeable in the parks, but were really, really bad at the Beach Club this afternoon.

Indeed. Trust me, I tried every trick in the book. In the long run, I lost no money... I just didn't save any. It was an extra trip to pickup the tickets, but otherwise, done and done. New, fancy AP. On another note, if you upgrade at Guest Relations, they can also give you the new passes. You don't have to go to Odyssey to upgrade them or anything. The new tickets feel nicer, but really, they work the same way. You still wait in line and do the biometric scan. The technology seems to be about as reliable as the old tickets. Lots of people had to have them scanned instead of how it's suppose

So just FYI, the upgrade policy has changed. The amount you pay for a ticket, regardless of if It's been used or not, is the value of the ticket. Tried it at 3 guest relations after being used and it was worth what I paid.

That's the ticket I just bought and plan on doing the same thing. If it doesn't work, the Fiends will be the second to know!

Well looks like the weekend I'm there I'm meeting an Ewok.

I've done it a few times, but the MVMCP trips were all before the parties were crowded, so I can't comment on that. I actually really enjoyed this one. I'm not usually one for character photos, but these were some great ones. The parade is good, but you can see it on tv Christmas Day. The fireworks are great, but I also like them from the beach at the Fort. The cookies, well, they SMB in my opinion. Definitely go once if its in the cards financially. I don't think you'll dislike it. You may even love it.

Welcome! I don't know much about dogs at the Fort, but I'll answer the loop question as best I can. Since you want a pet loop, I'd say the ones farthest away from "noise" is the 900 loop. There are others better, but they're not pet loops. There are some loop videos on YouTube that might give you an idea of the distance between sites. The 900 loop specifically is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlrVwNZA_7c The 800 loops is also popular, but a little closer to the marina. I've heard the fireworks in the 2000 loop and the 1600 loop, so I don't know there are any sites that are immune

I actually like Epcot. Illuminations is my favorite firework show and I enjoy the pavilions. Other than Spaceship Earth and Soarin', though, I can't tell you the last time I didn't hurry through future world to get to something in WS.

I'm pretty sure this is becoming a Starbucks soon, right? I'd like to see them at least leave what's there and add an attraction in WoL pavilion. There needs to be something to pull crowds from TT and Soarin.

The options at Wilderness Lodge are great, for sure. If you are on any kind of time crunch or just don't like to spend a lot of time traveling, the bus to WL from the Settlement is just a few minutes. You'd be at the lodge before you ever got on a boat. When I use the fitness center there, I'm always amazed at how fast I'm back at the cart.

Spectro was definitely my favorite. Best new from a bus driver all night.
