  1. To reinforce my last post here is the blackout calendar that is listed on the AP site below the COVID up date about reservations. This is for the top two tiers.
  2. I think what you are seeing is due to the fact that all the AP reservations are already taken due to the limits on each category (AP, RESORT and NON RESORT) and not black-outs. I have always understood that each category was limited per day so that all had an opportunity to reserve. If they didn't do that you could have a park full of nothing but all AP's or ALL RESORT.
  3. ??????? That's not what this says... Annual Passholders staying at select Disney Resort or other select hotels with valid theme park admission are eligible to make theme park reservations for each day of their stay(s), and now in addition, all Annual Passholders are eligible to make theme park reservations for up to 3 days at a time on a rolling basis. Once you use a theme park reservation, you can make another reservation for a future date. All reservations are subject to availability and applicable pass blockout dates. Guests should ensure their pass type is valid for park entr
  4. Resident, but we pay it up front and we just renewed in Feb. Granted they didn't know what the extension would be because the final opening was completely settled,, but it ended up being 4 months. If they extended 4 months from Mar 16th one would assume any refunds would be from the same date. You said your's exp in May so that is 2 months that you lost. I can understand your frustration, but as with everything in this entire mess, it's a first.
  5. Jen posted in early June that we had to call and that is was not automatic otherwise I wouldn't have called.
  6. As I posted in another thread I got through in about 5 minutes, was transferred once. Told them I wanted the date extension and they said it would take about 2 weeks and it did. Our exp date has been extended 4 months.
  7. With the recent spike I can see some people canceling. Also a 50% limit would still overload the pools since nobody would be going to the parks as they would if all was normal.
  8. Establishments that derive over 50% of their income from drinks alone have to close.
  9. Gideons coming to DS, with 1/2 lb cookies... https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/beloved-bakery-coming-disney-springs-175900057.html
  10. But they may not have felt ill until they went for the test.......How many people have/had it an never feel ill?
  11. Was it laying on the ground or hanging vertically? If laying on the ground that is a NO NO..
  12. And if they allowed SAT & SUN alone they would probably have a lot of people upset that couldn't book FRI-SAT-SUN which is probably a higher percentage than the SAT-SUN crowd.
  13. That was our experience when we were there with the Winter Settlers (Dec- April). As Mo mentioned that does however mess up those who want a full week since the locals grab the weekends at the 499 day mark as many use a TA. We we would see the same people 2 or 3 weekends a month.
  14. Except installing all the utilities along with the roads would not be cheap.. Then you would have to remove it all to build since you could have future failures where all the pipes (water & sewer) are located. It would also require one or more additional bath houses. Would be nice though. And they definitely need to rebuild the BYBBQ.
  15. Well we'll find out soon since the FORT opens up next Monday.
  16. I wonder when he was there? House of Blues and several of the places he mentioned are now open, Marria and Enzios being one albeit some are carry-out only. Since the Bars are now allowed to open I think that list will grow even bigger pretty soon.
  17. Wish-granting nonprofit resort to close indefinitely, lay off most of its staff https://www.fox35orlando.com/news/wish-granting-nonprofit-resort-to-close-indefinitely-lay-off-most-of-its-staff
  18. But that is European control isn't it since DCL is an English Company? The last Cruise was an Oct transition.
  19. Based on the Orlando News stories I don't think they really know yet. All the Cruise Lines and the Port are getting more and more upset everyday with the CDC because of the no sail order and no additional info.
