We've only ever owned huskies. With us, the girls are the smarter ones with more personality and our boys have been lovable lugs. LOL Our current boy is adorable but he is my box of rocks. He's not very smart. I swear our girl rolls her eyes at him. She will often bump her head under his jaw when he "talks" too much. LOL Glad to bring back good memories.

Help finding pictures

And that is one of the great things about this website. There is almost always someone around to help or they seem to get here quickly. It's like they just know someone needs them. -

Are you making any money on it? I've often wondered if it would be worth it to deal the with occasional crazy. -
My dad was tight with money. Still is. He insisted we get there when it opened and he made us stay until it closed. Dang we were tired little children.

Every time we pass those palm tree and flamingo awning lights, I tell my husband those would be great if the flamingo was PURPLE. -

I have a wonderful collection of doodads, doohickies and whatchamacallits. No idea when or if I will ever use them all. -
Premium Pet Loops - how bad are they?
alexwyattmommy replied to alexwyattmommy's topic in Fort Wilderness Loops Information
Thank you. We get tractors and combines seasonally, normal farm animal noises and dually diesels who have modified their mufflers. We are also right next to the highway so air braking is frequent. We are okay with noise. I think it is more a stress of needing to take care of the barking dog than the actual barking of the dog. I would love to hear more of the 800 and 900 loops. Is it hard to cross the main road to get to the pool? How busy is the road? -
We have 2 Siberian Huskies. We understand dog noises. However, because we are traveling so far, we are going to board them for this trip. All the recommend premium loops are pet friendly. I really think I want to upgrade/downgrade from the preferred to the premium so my husband has more room to work with and I don't want to vacuum while on vacation. So questions are: 1. Am I going to have to inspect the site and clean up after someone else's dogs? 2. How noisy is at night? 3. What recourse do I have if someone's pet is howling all night long? [i live in the middle of nowhere for real, I don'

Pick me, Pick me! I've seen the original Illuminations. AND the original Figment show. Course I was just a teeny bopper back then and couldn't tell you what I remember. But I can say I was there.

No More Free USA Newspaper To The Rooms
alexwyattmommy replied to Lou...'s topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
It will much easier to "borrow" the newpapers now. You just need to go to an elevator, pick up how many you will need for your stay, and tah dah! You are golden. Or is that black and white and red all over? -
It is good to see you here! You will find very up-to-date information here. I've posted on other forums stating that we are currently booked with preferred, but thinking about changing to premium. I admit I am worried about the backing in thing. New girl, first trailer, LOL. Backing a gooseneck with tractors loaded on the trailer bed is a completely different animal than a solid sided 33'8" travel trailer. Thinking DH would welcome the little bit extra room.

We were going shopping at IKEA the other day and I made everyone get up as early as they do for school. DH wants to know why. And I tell him they start serving breakfast a half hour before they open and I want to get there at rope drop. LOL I live by rope drop. The sooner you get someplace, the less crowded it will be. I'll wait until the next day if I can't make opening that day.

My bad, I thought for sure the ticket information would be on the confirmation, unless you made changes to the tickets. I know the DTD window is open late. That seems to be where many go who arrive later in the day. Lucky for us, the class will be near the end of our trip, so rushing to get the tickets isn't as important for us. If I miss one rope drop, it won't scar me. LOL I say that now, but wait until I'm shaking with the jitters because I'm not at rope drop.

Closer to Cincinnati than any other place. You will be quite a few hours north of me. Do you mean next weekend as in February? This weekend is not looking so great for traveling. They do fill up fast. The ones closest to holidays of course fill up quicker. The more children you have wanting to take the same class, the sooner I would sign up when you see it open up. I'm lucky that my children like to learn. This is not something I have to cajole them to do. My eldest is already trying to decide if wants to take the point'n'click type or the ones that change out the lenses. I think the f

We haven't done it yet, but I've been researching it for a year now. Kids 13 and older have the option of being alone, but all kids under need an adult. I've read the reviews of many of the programs. They all sound like a lot of fun. They incorporate the rides in many of the programs. The one I am most interested in the only one I don't have a lot of information on. There is a program that uses digital photography as the main learning experience. Both my eldest son, 13, and husband are really into photography. They would be going to the class together. I would be taking my younger on

You do need to have an adult chaperon with the children. They cannot be left on their own. Tickets cannot be upgraded. They are good for 7 days before the date you say are arriving and then 7 days after the day you are leaving. So if you arrive on the 24th and stay until the 31st the tickets are good from the 17th to the 7th of the next month. These cannot be saved and used at a later date. Whatever is left unused is gone. The longest they have are 8 day passes. You can have 8 day plain, 8 day hopper and 8 day hopper and more. We plan on the 8 day hopper and more. This gives us 8 park

We did the refill mugs when we stayed at the Lodge. It was easy to get to the Forks and the frig in the room wasn't all that big. But this time, I am only getting one mug as a souvenir. We have one of those hugemongo sized 7 day coolers to keep our soda and water cold. Plan on making the grocery store run the first day we are there. Getting on the rented golf cart to go get a soda seems a little bit like too much work for me.
