  1. One of the biggest factors in our decision to get a Class A was not having a tow vehicle. We have a Van that we towed our pup with but it would have to be replaced so that made a big difference. We would have to buy a new vehicle plus the trailer or fifth wheel. Good luck with the decision.
  2. Is there any other way to make chili besides hot & very spicy?
  3. We are with you, drive 16 hours then sleep for a bit at rest area then head on into the fort. We also have a class A. It makes a more comfortable drive. We like being able to make something to eat & it's also nice having a bathroom.
  4. Welcome! Driving from Dallas we push it & only stop to sleep for about 5-6 hours. Where we stop depends on how early we leave. We stop at rest areas & sleep in our MoHo. We have stopped at Pensacola rest area, Flying J's in Gainesville & several other rest areas. We find most if not all the rest areas along I 10 are nice & secure. Have fun planning!
  5. Welcome! I think most people leave on Sunday. We have the best luck when we check in early in the morning. If you don't get the site you want you can always drive around & chose another empty site.
  6. GMA said people waited in line 16 hours to see Luke. Just think we didn't have to wait in line at all at the Fort!
  7. That day & night were so much fun! I will always remember the fireworks.
  8. That stinks! I think you just need to plan a Fort trip to get a new one.
  9. The motor home has made our drive a lot easier. (of course when it's not breaking down!) I am ready! Meet you there!
  10. We always each bring a water bottle then refill & use a crystal light drink packet to make the fountain water taste better.
  11. On our July trip we did a lot of resort hopping since we only did the parks for 1 day. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Did just what Mo said, monorail for Poly, GF & Contemporary. Then another day took bus to HS then walked to the Epcot resorts. Also ate a lot on the Boardwalk that day too. Beaches & cream & The Bakery. Other days took buses to Port Orleans & Coronado Springs. I highly recommend this for a change.
  12. Wow amazing! It's funny I wasn't offered any of the food from the trucks as I was staring over their little fence. After all I was one of the "settlers."
  13. Nice! I have tried to find these but they apparently sell out immediately.
  14. For real the week of the 4th was hot but lots of rain to cool it off too.
