  1. You are right Dave, my fears were totally unfounded. I spent all day Sat. passing those dogs out and couldn't smell a thing. As anyone who has been there knows, it you can't smell it, it AIN'T kimchi!!
  2. This has been all over the news down here tonight.
  3. No Kidding! When I explained how to make REAL kimchi I thought we were going to lose half the group.
  4. Well I got my zone assignment for Food & Wine. I'll be working in the zone which includes Brazil, Australia, Argentina, Singapore, Africa and South Korea! First two days I'll be in the Kimchi Dog house. Just like they said I would....
  5. He probably wouldn't like Townsend, according to my research there are none of the amenities he's used to in the 3000 loop.
  6. Since this is the first long haul, make sure you don't go to long. Fatigue will make an easy haul pure torture; "Course that's coming from a retired guy who doesn't have to cram as much Disney into a vacation as possible.
  7. I cheat, I've got a couple of Disney cook books. My favorites are the scalloped potatoes from Chef Micky's and the Canadian Cheese Soup. :grill:
  8. Sorry to all. That's the last time I take Marilyn's word for anything. Well probably not....
  9. Our toy hauler is 42'+ towed by a Duramax 4Door w/ 6.5 bed. We stayed in the 1700 (preferred) and had plenty of room. Congratulations on the new 5er.
  10. If it says R-Vision,,,, RUN!!! They aren't in business any more, for a reason.
  11. If we are the best you can do, you must have no life. Welcome to the train wreck!!
  12. We'll second third the Good Sam & Road Service memberships. Had to have MoHo pulled out of the mud in Bristol, TN. The going rate was $450, all I did was sign the ticket. Other things with Good Sam: Great RV finance rates. (Tax write off) :clint: Discounts at Camping World RV trip routing Of course discount camping rates
  13. I do this every day, what's your point. Well maybe not the burning calories part.
  14. The military allowed me to drive some fairly large vehicles and Marilyn allowed me to haul her around in several pretty large MHs. All I can say is Defensive Driving requires that you keep a safe stopping margin between you and the vehicle in front. This many times meant I had to BACK OFF.
  15. We are fans of 1700 but if you are going premium 600 is REAL close to the pool and campfire, not that far from marina.
  16. Matt & Richie are Aluma Car or something. Oh I don't know. Ask Lorna......
  17. The two most double edged phases in the Southern English language "Bless your Heart" and "God Love Ya". I always knew I'd done something just wasn't sure if it was good or bad.
  18. I don't know if it still open, but a while back they wanted a part timer at the Fort. With your knowledge and tolerance of rules and regulations you would make a great Ranger!!! :rofl3:
