  1. Also, hotlinking an image is a touchy subject; Epcyclopedia hosts the image and pays the freight for it to be loaded by someone on FF.net. Are we talking a lot of money? No, but it is still bad nettiquette and some webmasters have been pretty clever in trying to stop it. Also, I would say that whether the news was old news or breaking news is irrelevant. The article is Epcyclopedia's and she or he is well within her or his rights to request that it be cited, excerpted, or only linked to. I know we are happy to comply with whatever our sources request and there really does not need to be di
  2. I guess I don't understand...they are building villas or some kind of buildings in the campground? I hope they are careful when they graft this onto the campground. If it was just cabin-like villas it would work, but I have a feeling they will be pretty big.
  3. The "golden hour" in the morning when the sun is just rising is a great time to take photographs. The quality of sunlight can make breathtaking pictures. I sometimes use the early hours to get some pictures with few people and cool lighting and color.
  4. Is that a Flower and Garden Show taking place in the model town? Too cool! Disney is definitely about the details!
  5. My Mom's Aussie ended up living with us for a few years, she was one of the smartest dogs I've ever had. I wish our dogs were so well behaved...right now they are too unpredictable for me to think about taking out like this. We're definitely going to sign up for obedience school this summer.
  6. We are looking at Ellen's Stardust Diner. Ever been, what do you think of it?
  7. A good, New England recipe, here is a version I found on AllRecipes.com: "Beans baked the old-fashioned way -- in a bean hole! These are full of the authentic baked beans flavors of molasses and salt pork. Great for big outdoor gatherings." Ingredients: 10 cups dried great Northern beans 1 pound salt pork 2 onions 2 1/2 cups molasses 1 teaspoon black pepper 4 teaspoons dry hot mustard 1/2 cup butter Directions: 1. The bean hole should be 2 1/2 to 3 feet deep, depending on your pot. The hole should be big enough around to have a 6 in
  8. Here is some information about the STOLport and the EPCOT Ultralight Flightpark. I've always wondered why there was an aiport marked on the charts near Epcot, now I know why. Of course it is actually under the Art of Animation resort now, so I don't know why they still mark it! :) It might be a Disney urban legend, but I heard that pilots who declared "emergencies" in order to land on the Disney landing strip had to have their planes disassembled and trucked away. Jim Hill reported that Mickey Mouse One landed on a closed down World Drive instead of the landing strip when it arrived to be
  9. The Spencers' page must have been one of the first resort fan pages on the Internet. I learned everything I needed to know for our first Fort trip from their site. Are the Spencers Fiends?
  10. I just saw in a video podcast by MiceChat that the Fashions by John window had an interesting addition:
  11. I've been meaning to scan my Personal Navigators from the last cruise, and I will definitely bring them back for this upcoming trip. I will try to get some shots of the menus, too, for the Fiend Menu Collection.
  12. That reminds me of Hamburg's Miniature Wonderland. It would be nice to see the model train garden in Epcot's Germany upgraded to something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACkmg3Y64_s&feature=player_embedded

  14. Yeah, the answer was the Disney busses. It may have been a technicality since TT goes 60+ but is broken down more often than the monorails.
  15. It must have been 2000-2003. My guess was Big Thunder Mtn Railroad, an all-around bad guess and wrong.
  16. A Disney bus driver asked me this trivia question a number of years ago: "what is the fastest ride in Walt Disney World?" Maybe it was Lou?
  17. Does anyone know if they change menus for different itineraries? I guess I am hoping they have more New England/Maritimes style seafood on the Eastern Canadian cruise, I especially hope they do not have spiny lobster like we had in the Caribbean. Not that I didn't like it, but clawed lobsters are better!
  18. Very cool pics, I especially like the collage photo. Fountain of Nations has always been a favorite of mine, it is beautiful (more so at night) and the sciency part is pretty cool, to!
