  1. You mounted a winch to pull it in the truck? I thought that was to get in from point a to point b.
  2. I read all the comments before responding and wondered when I would see you were getting a run around. I see things all the time on Craig's list like this. Example someone had a pop up toy hauler listed last week for $2k. These are $7k campers and they claimed it was mint. Unfortunately craigslist doesn't have a security system like eBay where you have to b4 legit by providing a credit card to get another account. There are scammers everywhere. I recently got an email recently someone was trying to hack my acct and I needed to log in on their secure site and change my pw via this page. Of cour
  3. Like ftwilderness guy said. Go to rv.net and look up larryjm and ask away. Tons of knowledge I tell ya. I wouldn't even think about fwg's advice over Larry's. A legend. Seriously I'm with Jim on the 60 mph. I've had damaging blow outs. Put 16" tires on instead of the factory 15s which hold more weight and tire pressure. Go about 62 tops and no issues.
  4. I wonder if you get a check from Disney for something like that if it comes with a we no longer need your business letter? Does anyone remember the little punk who tried to take Tiggers head off a few years ago? The father was like what are you doing then when the cm pushed the kid off him the dad went into he hit you mode. One time I got startled because a firework went off. I guess I missed my chance at a lawsuit. People make me sick doing this crap. Not that they weren't already going to charge more but I'm sure frivolous lawsuits are taken into accountability during the hikes.
  5. Prayers to the family of this child. Can't add anything just wanted to say I will pray for them
  6. I'd have to say I woulda beat this punks ass then disappeared. He very easily could've hit a child. I'm sure had he been hurt on the bike he would've blamed the cm for chasing him and a lawsuit would be started. Good thing it wasn't Todd. His gf went through a windshield once but it was the other direction.
  7. I think if they keep this up that will definitely keep that from happening.
  8. Sounds like your friend owes you at least one pay back.
  9. I had a pop up for a short time and about 2 am this guy shows up in the 2000 loop with his lights coming in my camper and beating stakes in the ground. Mind you there was only like 6 sites taken in the whole loop and they put him next to me. It was one of those low 30s nights so when I awoke at sunrise to break down and head home I cranked up my diesel to warm her up for about 30 minutes while I'm folding the pop up in a slow manner. I looked over a couple times to see the guy looking out his tent like are you just going to leave that truck running? Why yes, yes I am going to. I even decided t
  10. Saw on our local news today the frozen sequel is in the works. Wow, a gazillion more dollars coming their way lol.
  11. One idea I had was camping world sells the bikes that fold up. Maybe you could fit one in. Oh and welcome.
  12. thanks for the great news travisma lol. I love Disney as like I've said before. It's ashamed it's getting like this. I have a friend's daughter who just started working at the ABC commissary at the studios. She just got through going through traditions. So all that talk about being nice to people and helpful, what is all that for?
  13. I just read the first post from the start. So this is at least 3 current report i.e. daveintn and a starbuc Dave's reports are all similar. I don't stay as much anymore as my daughter is almost grown and other things in life going on. It's sad to hear these reports as Disney has been a huge part of our life and gave my daughter and me much enjoyment over the years. It's not the same for sure but they have definitely quit putting customers first. The price of a site definitely nauseates me. I realized the need for increases but like you said lack of good service sure doesn't warrant me wanting
  14. Oh and I found this couple annoying btw but I'm not into podcasts and what not. Just not my thing but not bashing what others may like. What was funny is they got a free rv but seemed to really pound the travel agent who booked them. Bet they didn't pay the site fee lol.
  15. The rental company is Moore Camping Rental. Rodney is a good guy. There are several rental companies out there and with the exception of Greenberg we all have directed business to each other at some point. Greenberg is kinda to himself and doesn't seem to socialize. We all seem to have one goal which is to help families have a great stay.
  16. Blah blah blah, blah blah blah. You forgot the part about how you had to drink a few bottles of scotch to exist thru it all. Too bad gatordad and al didn't come see you.
  17. Thank you for that info DJ. No matter how much you use your camper that's the old traditional fiberglass and wood it's going to have issues. These livin lite trailers really seem to eliminate that. More expensive of course but I'm thinking at my age this would probably be the last RV I'd need for a while.
  18. They have a carpet package so they don't seem so industrial.the one thing I was thinking is they would be easier to clean and much cleaner for a customer because you can wipe everything down whereas cloth and carpet could hold germs and dirt.
  19. This is the model I would get if I was to buy one. http://www.sirpillarv.com/travel-trailer-toyhauler/2014/livin-lite-quicksilver/309106
  20. Does anyone have or looked at the livin lite brand products? They are light weight and low maintenance from what I'm seeing. The only thing I see is they're rugged as far as looks with no faux pax paneling, cheapy linoleum and fake wood floors to rot. Not sure anyone would want to rent something like that either. The cabinets are metal too so not really much eye appeal but durable for sure. It would cut my weight almost in half for my conventional toy hauler.
  21. I always liked it but it's only thing I know as well. Too bad it can't just be moved but stay on site. Oh well after the past couple years of how friendships and other things have ended I need to quit being sentimental and let go the old days. I love the studios mostly because of the Tower and R and R but the lights and movie ride are faves too.
  22. I can't believe they're only showing Frozen twice. For a mediocre film they sure found the cash cow. Never seen so much hoopla since they put Toy Story mania in.
  23. Homeward Bound on Thanksgiving Night. Woo hoo. Not gonna be there but that was the first movie we saw there 10 years ago when I took my daughter for Thanksgiving weekend. We did 10 years of Thanksgiving weekends but going to miss this one and go the week after. Crowds are crazy now.
