unfortunately for me it was due to posting topics and then being attacked by know it alls that caused me to loose interest  I still chat and comment about somethings but I don't get involved like I used to ;-(

I agree. Some just have nothing but negative comments, or responses to posts. I guess you get that everywhere though. I have to admit, I'm guilty of not being as active on here though. I'm from KY and only get to the fort once a year if that, so I really don't have a ton to contribute compared to those who frequent the place. I do ask questions when we are prepping for our trip, or when I have a valid comment, but I usually don't just comment for "post count".  I do love this site. Thanks to the admin for the great job they do keeping it going. It's a labor of love I'm sure, but still lots of labor. 

After talking with The Blue Ridge / Cardinal Warranty Manager it was determined that it was out of warranty and not covered by Insurance. However Forest River wanted to take care of the Issue as they decided it should not have a leaking slid out. They also said the only way to fix it correctly was to replace the entire wall ( i thought that by adding comments I could add Pictures Im wrong lol)
Forest River took in my Fifth wheel at the end of January and sent it back down the factory line. in the process They found issues in both side walls and replaced them both the also replaced the roof as they decided they were not happy with it's condition. In all they Replaced both side wall, the roof, Repainted the entire unit. Replaced the carpet where the dog chewed it up. Replaced trim that was loose and damaged from use and replaced the back bedroom door I crushed by closing the slide on it. 
They had the Fifth wheel until last week (5 months) and as a thank you for my patience and loyalty they added the slid awnings to all four slides.
FOREST RIVER DID ALL THIS FOR FREE.

Now Im sure there are some bad stories but I feel I should share this as Im now a lifetime Forest River buyer.

And on the topic of maintenance and the fort.   Trust me we all put way to much faith in the fort and their service connections.   I have had one trip with over a grand in repairs to my electrical system.  I had always thought that after the bid upgrades and system wide surge and lightning arresters were put in that there was no risk.   I was very wrong along with all our neighbors on that loop ( jack rabbit run)   Then I got a good surge protector with a display.  The voltage is all over the place and very inconsistent. Amperage I can only see my draw not what is there

This is fantastic. I can't even begin to explain how hard it was to make the decision to re home her.  These updates make it feel as if this was the plan all along.   Thanks for these updates.  Love ❤️ how this turned out 

Sounds like Joan the GSD will be going home to Roberta's on Sunday.   Thanks to all that helped.   And if this for some reason falls through I will let you guys know

Not without the risk of said persons getting in trouble (but they would know)

I do it in one shot form time to time form south bend Indiana. but to tell the truth you really don't save anytime. if I stop for about 6 hours and sleep somewhere usually around Macon then I arrive at the fort feeling good and set up in time to enjoy a nice night. if I push on through and do it all at once then I exhausted and then have to set up just so I can go in and crash feeling like crap. I have had reasons do do it both ways.I do prefer to drive at night. everything runs cooler and no traffic jams or construction delays

I had a partial reservation for halloween that I need to find other days for. I was able to complete my reservation this week. both full hookup and premium hookup sites are coming up on the online reservation system for the halloween weekend
