Congratulations. Hope it works out for you. Even the Fort with problems is better than no Fort. If the new rig can pull it I would go with the f150 and put a golf cart in the bed. Have fun what ever you do.

The Fort is great when it first opens after a hurricane. It's so quite.

Hope they get the Fort back open for you. That's what happened to us for Matthew we checked into PORS and when the Fort opened back up we switched back to the Fort. But we could have stayed at PORS the whole trip at no extra charge. The best thing about the resort was free ice and a food court. We were so happy to get to the Fort that trip.

We got moved to Riverside during Matthew. We were there from Wednesday to Sunday. We were so sad looking at our camper in the parking lot.

That's better then I thought, the one we were looking at was 3500 to 4000 max. As far as the f150 goes we just traded the wife's wrangler on a 2019 f150 4x4 last month we really like it, first half ton truck we ever had. My daughter still prefers riding in my mega cab though. But I really like the 20.5 mpg in that f150.

It's been several years since I looked into all this but if I remember right I think the f150 will be to heavy. That was another reason we didn't do the motor home. Unless we went with a diesel we couldn't bring the jeep and the golf cart.

Thanks we were just goofing around and she came up with that right there. I am always amazed at what she comes up with but never surprised.

I thought about this before and in the end I decided the owner ship of a motor home would be to much of a pain. Just from the service and maintenance side. I would go crazy waiting on the side of the road waiting for a special tow truck just to be able to lift the motor home to change a tire. But I know people love class A so go with what makes you happy.

It makes sense

All I know is I see the rolling around. Down the road. Or parked camping. Or for sale at the dealer. I really don't think I was helpful.
