So what if you check in and don't like the site they gave you and you want to change sites?

I second this for a walking option. The other 2 ideas I have are to go to the Meadows and rent a canoe it's like $13 then you will paddle back to some secluded areas. Or go to the lake and rent a pontoon boat and it would be just the 2 of you on the lake. Which you could pick the location from by Fort Wilderness or near the Magic Kingdom.

Get breakfast to go from the French bakery in Epcot. Then walk over to the Skyline and eat your breakfast in the air.

Well we have called it the Fort for years, I guess it's fitting now that they are getting rid of the wilderness. So sad.

I noticed the same thing when we're there last I just thought it was our bands not working

I would be surprised if they used the old equipment. Much simpler to have a company install new equipment with fresh hardware. Then having someone try to reassemble 20 plus year old hardware, and the cost of new equipment would be nothing to Disney when you factor that in. But who knows I am not running the place and Disney is far from logical at times.

Just told my daughter she got very sad and said that's the only swing set. And a few tears.

We had a lot of hours there over the last 10 years said to see them go.

Not a scam, but I appreciate your concern. I am very skeptical about most things also. But you tube has become my wife and daughters hobby and they have lots of fun doing it. I was against it at first, but it was my daughters idea and it was something we could do together.

I haven't been to GE yet but I think you hit the nail on the head on all points of it. From every video I have seen it just looks like a dirty desert town. Not exciting, Star Wars was cool because of outer space and tech. We will go check it out but I also am not expecting much. We were looking forward to riding the skyliner but you couldn't pay my kid to get on it now since it got stuck.
