  1. Like I said, I can't imagine. It would drive me to drink. :wine: Oh wait, I guess that would make me a Fiend. BTW, the DW & I have started looking at B+'s with an eye to the future & here's one we really like. It has a Murphy bed in the slide. Just right for a couple. http://www.leisurevans.com/unity/floorplans.html#anchor
  2. When we were in the Keys a few years ago there was a couple in the CG that had 4 (count 'em) 4 rescued greyhounds. I asked what size rig did they have with those four big dogs. They said a 33 foot Class A, same as mine. I asked where do they sleep & the reply was, wherever they want to. I can't imagine.
  3. We started with a 25 ft TT, went to a 27 ft Class C, and now we have a 33 ft Class A with 2 slides. We flat tow a Honda CRV. We like being able to just get out of our seats & go back to the living area without going outside. I'd like to go a little longer & DW would like to go a little shorter so this is a compromise. It's large enough to live in for 3 or 4 months at a time in the winter but not so large that I'm afraid to drive it. One thing about the Ford Class C cab/chassis: DW did not like the passenger side seating area, specifically the foot well. The dog house really intrudes
  4. I agree with Lou, it's hard to mess up pizza. Last winter we became PJ fans when we were staying at Rainbow Chase in Davenport. There was a PJ's about a mile away. Now that we're back home in PA we've stayed with PJ and we like the weekly e-mail offers we get from them.
  5. I think I saw # 1 at Wally World the other day. :rofl3: Number 2 is kind of spooky. A kid sized Darth Vader with a man hand holding a purse? DW loved # 3. She said she could imagine one of her 2nd graders coming to school dressed like that.
  6. I recall an incident like this several years ago at Test Track. DW & I were next in line to board a car, the car pulls up, but the gate doesn't open for us to board. Instead, a door on the other side of the track opens, a plaid vested cast member appears & escorts about half a dozen Asian looking folks onto the waiting car. At the time I thought maybe it was the handicapped entrance but that didn't explain the plaid vested CM. In the army there was the old saying RHIP (rank has its privileges) but in this case it's WHIP (wealth has it privileges).
  7. Started reading this thread last night, finished this morning. Still have to watch the videos. Thanks to all the Fiends who contributed. I'm amazed at all the info you dug up. TCD & Mo should be working for the CIA. Does Disney provide immediate, go to the head of the line access to people like the Luckows if they want to visit the parks & ride the rides? Just wondering how far Disney would go if you have the money.
  8. My niece and sister-in-law better have their fill of Disney princesses after this trip. We're doing the A&E meet & greet and Cinderella's Royal Table on Saturday and the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall on another night. :wine:
  9. Thanks for the first hand account. I saw pictures of the cherry picker and the platform, but had no idea they had you walking on the car roofs. I liked the part about the announcements to stop calling 911 & don't remove the car windows. My biggest WDW adventure so far was being stuck on Space Mountain. Not sure I would ever want to walk on the roof of a monorail car.
  10. Thanks, Kelly. Looks like I'll need a nap. I hope it works.
  11. My 60 day window to make FP+ selections starts tomorrow and I would like to get a FP+ for the A&E meet & greet for when my niece visits WDW with us in October. I think I read somewhere on Fort Fiends that the new FastPass+s become available at a certain time each day. I think it was either 6 AM or 7 AM. Can anyone tell me which it is? Thanks.
  12. Lou, thanks for reposting that. I missed it the first time. Thanks to everyone for their tips. Does anyone know if posting links to pics on a Onedrive account or a Dropbox account will work like links from a PB account?
  13. I'm trying to post some pics but when I try to attach them to the post the total size that I'm allowed to post keeps getting smaller. It's now down to about 125 KB. What am I doing wrong?
  14. OK, thanks, That's good to know. It's also a higher discount than I expected.
  15. Mary Poppins is there & she's not even a Disney Princess. Maybe she got blown off course by a North Sea storm.
  16. I just did a very unscientific study & found that only 4 days out of the 24 we'll be there in Sept/Oct with ADR times at the Crystal Palace prior to 9 AM. Every day had available times at 9 AM or later. I realize the early times are going to go first & the Crystal Palace has a popular character breakfast. I hope this is the case. Maybe they'll get this bug out of the system soon (if Disney considers it a bug.)
  17. Thanks for the tip. She's 18 now & hasn't been to WDW since we brought her 10 years ago but she & her mom want to do the girly stuff. I'll check with her. One question though: the DW & I have APs. Will we have the same problem getting FP+s more than 7 days beyond our arrival date like the OP? My SiL & niece are joining the DW & me after the initial 7 days of our 22 night stay at the Fort.
  18. No joke. I haven't seen Frozen yet. No granddaughters to keep me up to date on the princess front. I did get sprinkled with :fairydust: though at DTD last year. We're taking our niece to the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall & Cinderella's Royal Table when we're at the Fort in October so maybe I'll see one of them.
  19. :yourekillinme: Who are Anna and Elsa? Yes, back when dinosaurs roamed and people didn't boil everything down to a handful of letters, it was know as the Arts & Entertainment Network. :rofl3:
  20. OK, I give up. :banghead: I checked the Abbreviations thread & couldn't find the answer. What's A&E besides the Arts & Entertainment Network?
  21. It sounds like annual pass holders who are also guests and want to book FP+s are secured to an object by an inclined plane wrapped helically around an axis.
