  1. Thanks for the tip. If they don't want to see F! again I'll call and see if I can change to dinner only. I wonder if the price goes down without the F! reservation? Also, I hope they add some more choices to the dinner menu. When I checked earlier today, the choices were peel and eat shrimp, lobster mac & cheese, Lando's lobster mac & cheese, and some desserts.
  2. Thanks to this Fiends tip, I got a reservation for Dec. 11, the last night that our sister-in-law and niece will be with us at the fort. The dinner also includes Fantasmic!, and we took them to see that last year, so I'm not sure we'll be keeping this reservation.
  3. Blizzard Beach, Disney Mini-Golf Courses Currently ClosedWednesday, August 05, 2015 | Posted by OTPN Administrator Be advised that Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney’s Miniature Golf Courses are temporarily closed due to inclement weather (Typhoon Lagoon is still operating). They will reopen to all Guests when it is safe to do so. Since lightning may be present in the area, all Guests currently visiting the area are encouraged to remain indoors until the storm moves away. Be sure to stay tuned here on OTPN for additional news and updates on this subject. How can it be safe for TL
  4. I recently advertised my Honda Reflex scooter for sale on my local Craig's List. My first response was from a guy who wanted to buy it as a "surprise" for his family. His phone number was from an adjacent area code so I thought the offer might be legit. Next he said he would pay me using PayPal, which I've successfully used before. When he told me his "mover" would stop by to pick up the scooter after the payment cleared, I figured it was a scam and told him to forget it. He never replied to convince me otherwise. I've heard of similar scams where the buyer wants to pay with a cashier's check
  5. Last October a guy ran over my left foot in an ECV. Broke my little toe. To add insult to injury, I had to rent a Disney ECV the next day to get around Epcot. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  6. I was gonna post a picture of my hookup but I was too lazy to drag it into Photobucket. A thousand words is worth a picture.
  7. I used one last fall. The kit included 2 30 foot coax cables, 1 Ethernet cable, 1 1 foot coax jumper cable, 1 cable splitter, 1 Linksys cable modem, 1 power cord for the modem, and 1 instruction sheet. I think the second 30 foot coax and splitter are included in case you also want to connect to the park cable TV. I also connected my wireless router to the modem. Very easy to set up.
  8. I hope you got to see some ponies. We go to Assateague Island every September & camp in the MD state park, which is the only way to get into the state park. There's always good pony action in the campground. The adjacent Assateague National Seashore is open to the public (for a fee) & there's good pony action there too. We visited Wallops Island a few years ago & it was interesting seeing another side of NASA than the one people are more familiar with.
  9. I heard/read that he put the mortar tube on his head upside-down. Booze and fireworks, what could go wrong with that mix? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  10. The app name is myPilot. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  11. I use the My Pilot app to locate the Flying J truck stops on my route. Most Flying Js have dedicated RV islands that sell both gas and diesel. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  12. Just got off the phone with WDW Dine & they're not accepting reservations for the CP yet. :argh:
  13. They could have made it real interesting by building a roundabout at the intersection. :popo: :rotfl5:
  14. When I had my travel trailer, I used a little trick to help me remember which way to turn the steering wheel when I was backing the trailer. I'd put my right hand at the bottom of the steering wheel, and then whichever way I wanted the trailer to go, that's the direction I'd move my right hand. I hope this helps you. 15. Yes, I remember seeing the train you're talking about. It was at Christmas time at least 10 years ago, probably more, and it was in the grassy area in front of the Great Movie Ride on your right as you walked toward the entrance. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  16. Our daughter surprised my wife with the Happy Camper ladies tee for Mother's Day. It fits and she likes it.
  17. Rennie, that's pretty cool. I saw a rig similar to yours last winter in an RV park nearby to our winter home.
  18. It's a new shirt. We ate at Ohana's on Wednesday & afterward went browsing in the Polynesian gift shop. When I saw the shirt it was "love" at first sight.
  19. Can't wait to have some Beijing-style candied strawberries and the pulled pig slider with cole slaw again.
  20. Just had lunch at Pecos Bills. Taco salad is MIA. Having a Dole Whip to console myself. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  21. Since CS access will be by your personal MB instead of a generic KTTW card, will you be limited to the CS in your own loop only (if & when all CS access is by MB) or will your MB open all the CS doors? Also, what about the laundry rooms? When we were at the Fort in October, I was able to open the returning guest gate with my MB the first time I tried. One touch, the gate opened. The second time I tried, it took several touches to open the gate. The third time the gate wouldn't budge. I had to use a KTTW card after that. Go figure.
