  1. Pardon the thread hijack, but can I ask how you are managing 7 people on the reservation? I thought only 6 were allowed. I thought of just leaving someone off the reservation, but then they won't be able to make their fastpass reservations at the same time we do. As my kids grow up and move out, this is becoming less of an issue, but i always dream of a big family reunion at FW. :D
  2. I don't know, but i saw a video posted on Facebook of the rain being so hard it was lifting a manhole cover!
  3. I agree. We need to go back and have another of those. They were delicious!!!
  4. I mentioned this on a FB Disney group recently and people mentioned getting dinner reservations recently. So I don't know if the change was permanent or not.
  5. I was about to type what kind of bat**** crazy you all are, but then I remembered i am a lady and don't use that language.
  6. Sounds like a great day. I also always mean to get to the outlet store, but have not been yet.
  7. If TCD was at the Fort, there should be a trip report!
  8. I have to say that on both my family trips, this did happen. In 2010, my kids got to play kickball with Chip and Dale. We were the only ones in the area at the time, so they played with just us. In 2014, there was one other couple at the campfire are when we played a trivia game with them. We beat them and won a s'mores kit. :D I have also always seen them come out during the campfire and sign autographs and go around to meet all the kids.
  9. I would do Character Spot. Just getting hugs from Mickey and Minnie is so special to me. I also love time to wander through the shops in the World Showcase without worrying that little ones are touching everything or that teenagers are getting bored. Also, chatting with the Cast Members in the countries can be interesting.
  10. Thanks for all the bonus content! I hope you get in another WDW before too long. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Thank you for all the information, TCD. I don't know if D-Luxe Burgers would have been on the to-do list for my next Disney trip if i had not read this TR. But now it is. You really should get a press pass.
  12. I know they have changed what tier some rides are at Epcot. Not sure otherwise, But easywdw.com is my source for FP+, touring plans, and info of that ilk.
  13. Seeing a rainbow from WDW seems extra special to me. But then every thing at WDW seems extra special to me.
  14. If I did this right, this link should take you to a post that shows a map with a purple line tracing the path you want from Contemporary to MK.
  15. Your best bet is to take a resort boat to the Contemporary. I believe those start running at 6:30a. Then you can either take the monorail to MK, which will mean going around most of the loop, with all the stops, or you can just walk over to MK from the Contemporary. Editting to clarify: The boats from FW to MK start running 30 minutes before the stated park opening time.
  16. You need to download the Shop Disney Parks app to your smartphone or similar device. Once you have that, you can do a search for "haunted Mansion" to find the print. It is $39.95 + shipping.
  17. TCD, in the thread about the Plaza restaurant, you for ulster that even with your ADR, you would have a long wait. I'm curious. Did you? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Loved everything about the cruise report. Looking forward to bonus content.
  19. Maybe a yellow or light green shirt? Even pink would be better than black. I know you were going to be sweaty anyway, but wearing black in tropics? No thank you. In any case, way to go on the run! I am inspired. Not inspired enough to actually do anything in this heat. But inspired enough to think about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I see what you did there! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Go, TCD, Go! The Fort Fiends are counting on you! Not to win the race. Just to take many more fabulous photos. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Back in 1999, I took my one and only cruise. One of our ports of call was Freeport. It sounds very much like Nassau, without any of the upsides you mentioned. After a very short time there, we went to Port Lucaya. It was clean, friendly, more expensive, but worth it. I don't remember being traumatized by the transport there. I think the cruise ship had a van going. Our other port of call was Key West and that was definitely the best. The Midship Detective thing sounds fun!
