  1. Another grocery delivery option would be Shipt. It is an app you order food from Publix with. Someone does your shopping and delivers the food to you. I believe there is a discount on your first order. I have not tried them, but they are very popular at the Publix i work at in SC.
  2. I thought leg warmers bunched around the ankles went out in the 80's. But I am not very up on current fashion trends. Thanks for suffering through the parades just to get great photos for us!
  3. Kelly mentioned faxing a site request. I have done this and it worked great! Both times, i requested close to the comfort station and they accommodated that wonderfully!
  4. Trip reports take time and effort. Good trip reports take even more. Thank you for giving both of those in abundance! Merry Christmas!
  5. Thank you for this information! I have requested the DVD from my library. I hope to watch it with my kids next week.
  6. The more time I have spent at FW, the more i enjoy these TR's. Years ago, looking at these pictures would have been nice. But now they remind me of the smells, the feeling of the air, the excitement of relaxing at the Fort. 77 days. I think I can wait, but it is very hard. Thanks for helping me remember why I love it so much.
  7. Can I squeeze in on page one? As Maxwell Smart would say, "Missed it by that much!" But the important thing is I get to enjoy a TCD TR! :D
  8. I wonder how this will effect groups that do things like stroller sharing. Some will pick-up a stroller from the front desk of their resort that has been left there with their name on it. When they are done with their trip, they ask bell services to deliver the stroller to another resort with a different name on it. Working properly, many families can use the same stroller for their WDW vacation. The group I am part of on FB has about 20 strollers in circulation, as well as some room fans, coffee makers, and who knows what all.
  9. I have, but by rolling them around in a stroller or by taking them somewhere dark and climate controlled (yes, Country Bears).
  10. It seems to me that the average WDW guest is not going to shop much at Lilly Pulitzer or the other upscale shops now open at Disney Springs. Perhaps they are hoping locals will shop there instead?
  11. Can you imagine trying to convince an exhausted and extremely cranky toddler to go to sleep with the Magic Kingdom just on the other side of a tent wall? I'm not saying some folks won't try, but I think they are going to be extremely disappointed with the results. Especially when they fuinally manage to rock Junior to sleep, only to have the Incredibles Dance Party start up. I can't imagine there will be much privacy, as those tents will be quickly get very humid with all the flaps down. Plus, imagine being the DCP intern who draws the short stick and has to convince guests all day
  12. Do you think that somewhere, the guy who came up with this idea has seen how bad it looks and quaking in his boots hoping no one else realizes just how stupid an idea it is?
  13. Does Eggo come in Mickey Head shape? BTW, I had been buying my kids Eggos, and then recently decided to be cheap and buy the Publix brand (just square shaped), and my kids liked them better!
  14. This is the one I have. My daughter got it for me for Christmas. We love it. I usually have it and two waffle stick waffle makers going when I make waffles. Each "round" of waffles I make, someone else gets a Mickey waffle.
  15. Just to clarify, you wouldn't need to sneak on the internal buses. And Disney guest is welcome to tour any other resort, Also, you could take the boat from MK to FW, and then leave your son and husband on Crockett's Porch enjoying some lemonade or other beverage, and then just you go look at a few sites on the buses. Just a thought. Praying you have a wonderful trip!
  16. I was thinking it might be nice to have a thread to refer newbies to that lists what features some people have requested in a FW site. For us, I like to be near a comfort station. Some people might not want to be near the CS, since there is the foot traffic going by there at all hours. We also request near the bus stop so my husband won't have to walk too far. Some may prefer to be far from the bus stop so they won't hear it beeping. How about you? What features do you request?
  17. I would do as the others suggest, and just enjoy the free stuff.
  18. I believe the beach still has lounge chairs. There are also some chairs and benchs on a pad that overlooks the beach. I like to watch MK fireworks from there. They pipe in the music, which makes it extra special.
  19. Our family has always done fine just taking the "internal" buses that just go around the campground. There is one bus that goes to Wilderness Lodge as part of it's loop. Getting to the parks from the campground basically the same as other resorts, except for the added bonus of the boat to MK.
  20. Hm... Dave does make some good points. But I think this was a great TR for your first complete one. I am hoping that this is a good sign for the upcoming trip. I know that this level of pictures of pictures and details for a three week trip is expecting a bit much from you, but I am looking forward to seeing what you do produce, especially as you will be hurrying to finish it before WWW 2017!
