  1. Took the words right out of my mouth! They do seem to be a bit popular...
  2. Well, whenever you're going to be at the Fort next let me know I'll convince Josh we need to schedule a trip. It's really no trouble at all! I mean, what a sacrifice having to go back to the Fort. You'd really owe me one.
  3. Yay! I am going to love this! I love it when folks customize their campers! Wallpaper glue is the WORST. I'll bet you never thought you'd be so happy to see booger-y stuff on your wall. :)
  4. I wish you could, I wouldn't mind seeing your rig in person, too! Unfortunately, we don't arrive until the 29th so we'll miss you this time. But we could always use it as an excuse to come back. :)
  5. Added back the chrome trim, lights and bumpers today. Just a quick update with the progress!
  6. Looking forward to meeting you, too! Something tells me you won't need a snarky sign to find us...
  7. Thanks everyone! I forgot to mention that Hazel found something interesting in the generator cover yesterday. Anyone else see it? It's like we were meant to have this specific Travco. A hidden Mickey!
  8. :rofl2: Never a truer statement. I have to say, though, I really love the Fort Wilderness friends. So adorable and really well done!
  9. Following this. We are going to try and hit up the Grand Canyon in the next year or two. Excited to read that trip report!
  10. I need a matching screen for every room of my house. That way, when guests come over I don't have to pick up all the toys everywhere. I'll take one for my yard, too, so I don't have to weed the garden. Brilliant plan!
  11. Thank you for the support you guys! It really does help motivate us. More work happening today. We're going to be putting the trim back on and we're finally installing the new door handle permanently.
  12. Lou, that is fantastic! I have a thing for old gas stations, too. You have really good taste. :)
  13. I'd like to stop a moment to express how amazing it felt to finally be ready for paint. The feeling was a mix of relief, trepidation, worry that we had missed something, but most of all, hopeful. Josh and I took a day off work to drive to the nearest shop where we could have our paint mixed for us. It was a great day, a little shopping, lunch at one of our favorite places and some final sanding on Polly. Yes, this is what a date looks like for us. We chose our paint color a few months ago. Our first thought was to keep Polly Luna in a stock Travco color, but none of them really app
  14. Before I dive into this one, I just have to warn you that I might turn up the cheese a bit in the next two updates. A bit more than usual, that is. We've been working so hard on Polly Luna. Practically every minute of every weekend for the entire summer has been spent with either a power tool or a piece of sandpaper in hand. I've flat out forgotten what it's like to have free time. My kids, too, have probably forgotten what it's like to just stay home on the weekends and not jet off to Grandma's to work on Polly as soon as our eyelids have opened. I guess what I'm saying is that we've wor
  15. Stay close to your computers tonight, Polly Luna fans. Major update tonight! We had a very good day.
  16. Well I guess I know what I'm bringing to family Christmas dinner. Looks much easier than I anticipated!
  17. My eyes were rolling before I even read that story, now I'm in fear they're going to roll away from me.
  18. GREAT news that no one was hurt and glad the mystery is solved. Thanks, Jason, you earned that star. :)
  19. I agree with you, and I'm definitely more of a "simplest answer must be the right one" type of person ordinarily. But there are just too many things about this that don't make sense. Fire spreads very quickly in an RV, and if there truly was a fire, especially one large enough to blow out a window (or have to break a window to put out the fire) then that RV should not look the way it does on the outside. I really do hope I'm wrong, though!
  20. Good find on that video, TCD! I'll admit I was surprised by the rendering, though. Based on the drawings I thought it looked pretty nice. Obtrusive, but nice. But am I the only one that thinks the 3D rendering is kind of...ugly? Seems like they're trying to be WAY too modern for the theme and setting. Increasingly happy that the plan was scrapped, for now.
