A half portion of the True Japanese Kobe Beef that we shared.  Truly amazing, the beef is almost buttery and just melts in your mouth.  This is one of the few places in the nation where you can get real Kobe beef.

Becky switched one of her courses for one off the vegetarian menu, a mushroom medley, which she enjoyed immensely.  I do not recall the actual name of this dish, but if you like mushrooms (I do not) this is the dish for you.

We added the wine pairings with each course, well worth it, then were good pours and sometimes they even topped them off.

Took Becky for the mean of a lifetime for her birthday at Victoria and Albert's.  It was amazing, that is the only way I can really describe it.  And, yes, I took photos of nearly all of the food.

Both automated gates switched over as of yesterday. The was a surprise, they have had notices up regarding the comfort stations, but nothing about the gates.

I took some pictures today but they don't seem to want to upload to my photo site, modem is pulling a very week connection tonight.  I will comment that it looks to me that they are taking their time with this, so maybe you will see it at some point somewhere else.  I have seen some rides literally ripped apart before and scraped.  Even though this is not a ride, same idea here, it would be gone already.

A couple of items for an update.
As was mentioned during the peak attendance timeframe, those who hold an active memory maker entitlement are not affected by park phased closures. This is a huge deal if you visit during peak times.
Effective January 4th dining photo packages at all dining locations have been discontinued. The photos will still be taken, but no prints will be offered. Instead, the photos will be associated to guests card or rf enabled device (magic band, park ticket, memory maker card).
Guests can purchase the photos just like any other photos in their account.

Also, alcove, we'll be there that weekend as well. What a great birthday gift to get!

From NC and we have done Disney parks many times over the years and now the daughters are 22 and 26. 26 year old is married to an Air Force guy and lives in Okinawa Japan, She is coming in for a month and we thought we would do an old fashioned family vacation together. 2 years ago we bought a camper and doing Disney now for a new perspective of staying in the Fort for 4 nights. Then going to west coast of Florida for some Kayaking adventures. Gonna be a great 10 days. 

Beginning November 4th, Guests who redeem their Memory Maker entitlement will gain access to a new storefront within the MyDisneyPhotoPass.com website. This store features special pricing on Photo Prints and Disney Photo Gifts for Guests with an active Memory Maker entitlement in their account. Guests will automatically gain access to this new storefront once they redeem their Memory Maker entitlement. A Memory Maker entitlement is considered ‘redeemed’ or ‘active’ once a Guest downloads their first photo. Guests will continue to have access to the benefits of this new storefront as long as they have active photos or other digital content from their Memory Maker entitlement.
 
Some examples of pricing are a 5X7 will be $1.95 compared to $14.95, and a photobook will be $49.95 compared to $79.95.
 
 
The Memory Maker storefront may also have unique promotions and special offers available only to those Guests who have access to the storefront.

Big changes coming to Photopass. Some features previously only available to Memory Maker guests are now available to all guests.
 
Beginning Oct. 28, all Guests wearing active MagicBands will have their attraction photos automatically associated to their accounts.
• All unexpired photos will be visible beginning Oct. 28, so attraction photos taken within the previous 45 days will be included.
 
All Guests will be able to associate attraction photos with any RF-­‐enabled media (e.g., park ticket, Memory Maker card) via new photo touch points at the photo preview walls.
This functionality is not available for Guests using Disney PhotoPass cards. This will be rolled out in phases from 28 Oct to 10 Nov starting in the Magic Kingdom.
 
Beginning Oct. 30, all Guests wearing active MagicBands will have attraction videos automatically associated to their accounts. Videos currently are available for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Memory Maker entitlement is required to download them. Guests aren’t able to purchase the videos individually.
• All unexpired videos will be visible beginning Oct. 30, so attraction videos taken within the previous 45 days will be included.
 
Beginning Oct. 30, all Guests will be eligible to have animated magic shots automatically associated to their accounts.

Keep in mind only one person, the memory maker owner, can download the photos from their account.
You can link as many accounts as you want, be sure to allow photo sharing, then download the photos and put them on thumb drives or cd.
If they are trustworthy you could share the login info and the others could login from their computer using the memory maker owners account and download them to their computer or the owner could just login and download them.
It boils down to, if you have memory maker, are the owner, and can see the photos in your account, you can download them. It doesn't matter how they got into the account.
In order for everyone to get the special added stuff though, the accounts must be linked.
