  1. I agree - I had seen pictures, however, there is nothing like being there in person. how did you not know about that? You'll have to go try one next time. yep, stopping to watch the show was a easy way out of paying ! Thanks! Fancy name, fancy price! thought I had already changed it to charcuterie, but I hadn't. so it's fixed now. We have had several charcuterie boards at Disney. This one is very good. The one at BOG is also quite good.
  2. We checkout on 11/4 - so we will still be there.
  3. Thanks for following along - Monday -First full day at Disney and the Fort. DH, DD, and I went looping that morning and headed to MK for a little while. We went to the Arribas Bros store and bought my mom a mug and had it engraved. This is the Tumbler we bought for my mom. We also went to Guest Relations to get dd her new AP card. Went back to the Campsite to get DS who slept in, and We then headed to Hollywood Studios around noon. I had gotten FPs for Toy Story mania for all 4 of us so we headed there. Loser was supposed to buy lunch. W
  4. Thanks - and number one spot too~ Thanks for joining. You are welcome - I struggle with finding the time to do reports once we get back..but will keep this one going. Thanks and you are welcome. glad you are here. yay! Yep - back with the kids - Yes, one happy mom to have her kids back in Disney with her.
  5. Our first Christmas at the Fort / Disney – We were supposed to be there 12/10-12/15, however due to a wedding that our daughter was in our final exams for our son, I knew that week would be not doable – so when we came back home in November I logged in and was able to grab 12/17-20, but only by booking one day at a time. Grrr – then the next day I grabbed the 22nd and the next day the 21st, so we were set. I then called and had them all combined. We arrived on 12/17 which was a Sunday. We haven’t ever checked-in on a Sunday, but since the wedding was on Saturday, a Sunday check-in
  6. yay a trip report from DIT! Here a late but enjoying it and looking forward to more!!!
  7. We have stayed on 1431 and 1432. 1432 is directly behind the food truck - meaning the gap in the trees and you have a perfect view of the food truck - we didn't mind it at all. it's a very short walk to the campfire and movie- just walk out the back of the campsite. 1431 is a nice site too - but I can't remember if you can get to the movie through the plants and stuff. You might have to use the sidewalk. 1432 is very nice site - very big site, if you want to here the sing a long every night and the movie, it's the site to have. It really didn't bother us, I kind of enjoyed it.
  8. We received our passholder magic bands the other day, and the sliders were in there. We renewed ours in the park, and gave us sliders then too...so we now have extra
  9. I am not sure if I'm going to have time do a normal trip report -but wasn't sure where else to post this. I will try and add to it. I don't have many pictures but will try and post some. We were at the Fort or 3 weeks the weeks of 10/15-11/4 - had a blast . That is the longest we've ever stayed. We really enjoyed it. It was so neat getting to see all the different people coming and going, and getting to know some of the cast members. We also got to meet some fiends! We asked for 1431 - but it was taken - so we were given the option of 1432 - great site! loved it - right by the
  10. Thanks for sharing! Looks like you had a great time!
  11. When we were there in the fall - it was off the total. but only the total check of the passholder. If you are with friends/family and they are paying separate, they will need AP to get the discount. At least that is how it worked for us. If we were in that situation, we normally just paid the ticket, and our friends then just paid us there part later.
  12. it would be awesome to see you guys again too - we get there 10/15 - we are driving down after this years Egg Fest
  13. Thanks for posting this, TCD! This will be our first time at the Fort for Halloween.
  14. you are welcome! that is a bummer that the ones you needed are only 10%. We have reservations at Tiffins and Hollywood Brown Derby (first time for both) and I was excited to see that they were both 20%
  15. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/passholder-program/passholder-benefits-and-discounts/ this should take you to the list - I couldn't find one that would copy/paste well I wasn't signed in, so you should be able to see as well.
  16. New! 45th Anniversary Benefits From now through December 23, 2017, as a Walt Disney World Passholder, enjoy 20% discounts at 45 select dining locations. looks like the selected 20% off AP dining has been extended!! woohoo
  17. I'm in! Great report! Love seeing the sign every time. Love the Tinkle Tower - I'll have to remember that one. 2 weeks at Disney = Awesome!
  18. has he ever had his gallbladder checked? gallbladder issues can cause severe pain and nausea.
  19. I have read the Savannah Quartet - 4 wonderful books. When we went to Savannah I made my family go to the small cemetery and hunt head stones with me. ( loved them so much that I found all 4 i hardback at local book sale and have them in hardback and paperback) I will have to look into the Florida Trilogy - as the Savannah books are some of my favorite.
  20. We resort hopped to POFQ and POR on our last trip - we were really impressed with the QS at French Quarter - the only negative we saw was that they didn't have pomegranate lemonade at the mug refill stations. Therefore, DH said we couldn't stay there. priorities
