  1. We were lucky enough to spend last week visiting and stayed at Old Key West. It was our first visit to this resort. We chose it due to the availability of rooms with two queen beds, the amount of square footage in the room, and our preference for at least a kitchenette in the room. The grounds were beautiful and the front desk staff were welcoming and friendly. We checked in online where we were able to make two preference selections. We chose to be close to transportation with a water view. As you can see, we were right across the street from our bus stop ... we ha
  2. If he is the person who oversaw the Frozen ... Live at the Hyperion production at California Adventure, then he is the real deal. That show was pretty amazing. I would love to be able to see it again. It was a very impressive show, in fact, I would say it was the best show I've ever seen in a Disney Park.
  3. Our news is reporting that everything should be back to normal supply-wise in a couple of days.
  4. Yes, it is true. I live near Atlanta. Many gas stations are running out of fuel. Our governor was on the news today reminding business owners that price gouging is illegal. One gas station reportedly raised prices over $5 a gallon. I was able to fill up last night for $2.40 a gallon, but passed three stations today that had no fuel. I haven't noticed an effect on diesel, but I'll be sure to take note while I'm out tomorrow.
  5. Great report! Thanks for the people watching photos! It all looks like so much fun!
  6. No, she isn't coming then. She says she can't take the crowds. I think she and her friends are going to do another weekend trip.
  7. Yes! That is key. She did the college program at Disneyland a couple of years ago and she noticed that the cast member she was talking with was a college program member too. It is important to remember that the cast members are there because they want to be part of making your experience at WDW a magical one; they usually are as much a fan of all things Disney as you are!
  8. This story doesn't apply to MNSSHP, but I thought I would share... My daughter was at the park last weekend with three of her friends from college. The four of them ended up being stuck on Pirates of Caribbean for two hours. Once they shut off all the power to the ride, a cast member jumped down into the water to pull their boat backwards to another "room" of the ride so that they could disembark and walk through backstage to return to the park. As they exited into Adventureland, they were given fast passes and a Mickey bar. " The cast member said, "Hey, you guys are getting a free tour o
  9. Looks like so much fun so far! We always try to jump over to Chuy's for dinner while at WDW. I can't remember which night it is, but they do have a kids' night with a great balloon artist. If he's still there, he can make just about anything for the kids. Last time we were there, he was getting requests for all sorts of characters and he was able to do each one. Fun!
  10. I'm in. My children are about the same age as the TCD gang so I know what a blessing it is to be able to get the whole family together for a trip. Isn't it fun to do a trip with adult children? It's a pleasure to read along!
  11. Yum! I'm going to have to refigure my budget for F&W. So many choices... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I'm definitely going to try Brennan's when we are there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I remember going to that EPCOT preview that year.
  14. I love all the thrill rides. GDF ... I'll get Z on ToT one day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Happy Birthday to your girls! Thanks for sharing the excitement with us!
  16. I have a Cricut. It's a few years old. We can do a project if you want.
  17. Exactly. Just for fun, I did a little research on RV Driver's training. There are a couple of places that do it. My brother used to drive semis for a living so surely I could handle it. I think your hubby would be a little nervous about it though.
  18. Maybe the two of us should just go to a camper place and take an RV driving class. We could do it!!
