  1. Ya know, that's not the first time that I've been called that. In fact, DD informed me just the other day that I am no fun. Something to do with no cartwheels in Wal-Mart. Or maybe it was the sharpie marker on the furniture. It all blurs together. To answer your question, though... We have a truck. That's why we bought the slide-in. What's the point of having a truck and a slide-in if you're just going to put the slide-in on a trailer? Save the trailer for a golf cart. After all, who wants to rent one at those prices?
  2. Ah! Something that I forgot last time... We had a slide in once before that Jonathan had intentions of fixing up. He actually was wanting to put it on a utility trailer. I said no. Not long after, we found a deal on a pup that we couldn't refuse. So true. They really are only little for a very brief time. As for the squash, I kinda like it. Of course it has to be in a casserole, and that usually means cheese. Everything's better with cheese. I actually have one of those. Not the eye attached to the TCD Twin. The marshmallow roasting a hot dog. We bought ours at Holiday World a few year
  3. How'd I miss this?! And it's 18 pages! Time for me to get to reading!
  4. I have been thoroughly distracted while attmepting to catch up. Apparently, these miniature humans who live in my house think they need to eat and have diaper changes, the youngest of which does NOT like squash and whill shriek to high heaven if one attempts to place any in his mouth. I didn't take notes, so let's see what all I remember... 1. Good job on watching Star Wars in order of IV-VI, I-III. Definitely the way to watch them. That's my only issue with how they're going to release them in 3D. They're going to do it I-VI. I understand why, I guess, but it's not nearly as cool. What
  5. Great report so far! Love the pictures! Your little girl is especially cute. :)
  6. Am I really caught up? *double-checks page number* Why, yes, yes I am! Awesome as usual. Can't wait for more!
  7. LOL Indeed, you did. For those who may not have seen the pics... and the tickets (a bit blurry...I really need to scan them)
  8. Great updates!! Hmm...30 years ago... I was 6 months old. :D
  9. I've been away for a few days, and I finally caught back up. Looks like you all had a great night before Thanksgiving! Growing up, we didn't do a lot of eating out at Disney, but we tried I think we did a character meal every time. I have pictures of us eating breakfast with Melvin. I want to say that it was in 86? I've even got the kazoos to prove it. :)
  10. Hmm...maybe it's time for me to lift the ban on the Trail's End Dinner Buffet. My dad and DH would be very happy.
  11. Loved the old wagon and the totem poles! I vaguely remember totem poles at the Fort from when I was younger. I've always wanted to go horseback riding at the Fort. Guess that's another thing on my Bucket List. I could go for that. And, yes, we do enjoy the buses sometimes. Love the a/c in the summer. As a preschooler teacher, I completely agree.
  12. Finally caught back up! Great pics of the family! Gabriella has been terrified all masked characters since our trip to Chef Mickey's in '09. She won't go near them. Wonder if we could skip IASW if I convinced her that the dolls turned their heads and spit blood?
  13. I like the Tombstones, too. We have our picture on one, so I guess I'm biased. It was Jonathan's first visit. I've got a picture of it around here somewhere. I always wanted a brick. Never did get one. I love traveling to Epcot via monorail. Much more exciting than the buses (no offense, Lou ).
  14. You had only been on Star Tours once prior to the reno?! I kinda like Star Wars. I'm sure no one would be able to guess that. Fairly certain I'm more of a rebel scum-type gal. The lights are awesome! One day I'll see them in person. My parents have been saying for years that they are going to Disney during Christmas. Lord willing, they'll finally make it this year! I'm impressed that there is a nativity scene. Kudos to Disney for not caving to become "politically correct".
  15. Awesome! I especially love the teacups pictures!
  16. Whew! I'm caught up! Your background info on Anna almost made me cry, which I often do not do. She is such a precious, gorgeous little girl! Y'all are definitely blessed. Back in '06, we were lucky enough to hit Monteagle at around 11pm during a thunder/lightening/buckets of rain storm. Good times. I'm so hungry, now! GAG, cookies, ice cream, tonga toast, steak fries, steak and eggs...you're killing me! lol Can't wait for your next installment!!
  17. Considering I didn't get in until the seventh page, once again I had to make notes in order to comment. Either mommy brain is still alive and well, I don't get on here frequently enough, or both. I'm going with both. Here goes... I can't see a manatee without thinking of the Barbara Manatee VeggieTales song. You should listen to it sometime. It's definitely a few minutes that you will never get back. "Barbara Manatee, you're the one for me..." Moving along. Awesome news about the cover article! Congrats TCD DD! 13-14 is a tough loss. That stinks. I would love to be in MK at 3am. At o
  18. He's great, thank you! Can't wait for your Thanksgiving TR! :)
  19. Since I'm late to the party, I'll refrain from commenting on every installment and just say that I'm glad that you all had a good time!
