  1. We've got 8am services. I think it will take a miracle to get us there on time. lol
  2. I was also going to suggest a Maclaren. A jogging stroller would work well, too. I brought a regular umbrella stroller instead of the jogging stroller, though, because I was afraid of dealing with the length of the stroller. Plus, an umbrella stroller is easier to fold up on a bus...and we all know how much people on buses LOVE strollers. lol
  3. We tent camped for close to 10 years, and we've had wildlife get into all sorts of our containers. Honestly, your best bet is to keep your food in a plastic container either in your vehicle or your tent. You'd be surprised what animals can do to get into your containers.
  4. We slummed it at the Poly back in 96 due to tow vehicle issues. We walked around the Fort like sad little puppies. It's sad that we weren't at the Fort, but I wish that we'd made more of an effort to enjoy the Poly.
  5. We've got the second one. I think that we got that one back in 2006. We bought a separate one in 2004 on clearance for $3. It's got a motorhome and chip & dale on it.
  6. We almost always eat at Pecos Bill's, but we did eat there back in 04. It was pretty tasty. :D
  7. We never rent a golf cart (well, with the exception of when my brother was 18 and rented one for a brief period). Growing up, we didn't bring bikes, either. We walked or rode the bus. Our past couple of trips, we've brought bikes. You'll be just fine without a cart. :rofl2:
  8. Welcome!! Glad that you had a good time. Camping with family members can definitely be....interesting. lol Firefox automatically checks your spelling.
  9. We've only tent camped once with DD. DH and I slept with DD in between so we knew she wouldn't get up in the middle of the night and escape. We were lucky enough that our tent was a 3-dome tent with connecting tunnels. During the day, one of the smaller tents were dedicated to a play area for her. It kept her entertained, and it kept her toys quarantined in one area. Anyone have any suggestions?
  10. I agree...I'd definitely rent if I were in your position. Tent camping equipment can get expensive quickly. Plus it's REALLY hot tent camping at the Fort in July. I was actually bordering on pretty miserable back in '04, but we didn't have an a/c, either. We just had one fan, but it turned out okay. We survived. I just wouldn't recommend it if you have another option. :highfive:
  11. DD was NOT wanting to ride in the stroller this last time (3.5 yrs old). I brought a leash (Yes, I put a child's leash on my daughter. Much easier than worrying about her running off). After just a very little bit, we convinced her that riding in a stroller was really the better idea. I don't mind a stroller so much, but I guess it's because it's been so long since we've been without one. Even in 2006, my niece was with us and had a stroller.
  12. Oh, my goodness! That's crazy! Are they sure that it was directly related to the carousel rather than lots of walking or another ride?
  13. I've never heard of that, but I'm interested to see if it's any good.
  14. I think that it'd be really sad if the restricted the displays. I've always heard about how great they are, but we're not going to be down there during Christmas until 2012.
  15. You so deserved to win! Although, since I collect Disney waterglobes, I'd have been more happy with the waterglobe than the ribbon. :rofl2:
  16. We're just now getting a PUP with an awning (well, unless you consider the ghetto blue tarp that was rigged up on our old pup :rofl2: ). Growing up, my dad always left the awning out.
