I have hesitated clicking on this thread because, based on the title, I thought it was a thread about anti-diarrhea medicine, or maybe a prescription for psoriasis.  "Ask your Doctor is Kaltxi is right for you".  I hate made up languages.  Stupid.  Why can't the blue people just speak English?  It's not like they are real.  

Yes and no....
The Fort is a FAMILY oriented facility and should be run and enforced as such.
Sure, your neighbors should have enough common sense and decency to know better than dropping F-Bombs for everyone around them to hear.  Or not to be viewing explicit movies or having music playing that has inappropriate language for kids to hear.
But if they are lacking that bit common sense, than it's up to Disney to stop by, pay them a visit, and tell them to straighten up and fly right, or vacate the premises.
In the past you could be neighborly and ask them politely to watch themselves, but now a days you would probably be cursed at, your site vandalized, or attacked.
There are plenty of campgrounds that are more X-Rated then G for these people to plop down in, but the Fort isn't one and their boorish behavior shouldn't have to be tolerated.
We have reported issues in the past, and when nothing got rectified, we were told that the Fort is a big place and security can't be everywhere.
Well maybe with the amount of $$$ they are raking in, they need to higher more security/rangers and have them patrolling with their SUV windows down so they can hear the midnight dance parties.
 

I have started making a series of videos to try and answer the questions I see all the time. In my first one I started with How do I get to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue when arriving by boat. It also covers, Trail's End, the location for the carriage rides.

Thanks for the trip report. We went to the festival on Monday, sunny and cool and uncrowded, a great day for walking around the World Showcase. We finally bought the David Doss print Fun at Fort Wilderness, and got it signed by the artist.

Did you ever see anyone in or around the bungalows? 
The times I've been near them, they always look deserted. 
If i was paying that much to stay in one i would be perched on the deck all day and night with the patio doors open the A/C on high, the music blasting while drinking numerous adult beverages.

Someone needs to dress up like this guy and direct people away.

Saturday, 9/10:
After a light breakfast in Dolly, we went to MK.  Buzz, PeopleMover, Pooh.  Then we went to Cosmic Ray's and split a Greek salad:

It was better than it looks.
After lunch we rode 7DMT.  I tried to get a picture of the witch, but all I got was her basket:

The castle was looking good (except for the crane):

The crane was holding up a bucket with workers who were painting the roof and installing the Christmas lights:

I tried to get artsy with this next shot, but I finally realized I would have to lay on the ground to get it ilke I wanted it.  So I gave up.

What a small world!  We met a couple who live about two miles from us and are good friends with our ex next-door neighbors of 30 years.
Finally we headed back to the Fort.

It was so hot that day!  The heat bothered me more than usual.  My ankles and feet were really swollen.  But it was still a great day.

When Ninetendo games didn't work you would blow on the cartridge or smack it on your knee and then hoped it worked.

Although I purchased my own cart and no longer need to rent, I have used Kenny several times in the past and he has always gone above and beyond to provide great service.

Guests of other resorts who show up to trick-or-treat at the Fort are huge freeloaders. It's the same as when people show up in other neighborhoods to trick-or-treat.  To me, the deal with Halloween is that there's an implied agreement that you are being a good neighbor by generously giving out treats to your neighbors.  It's not a free for all.
As I said earlier, it isn't as big a deal as it's being made out to be.  It's very simple to sit in your camper and ignore the whole thing if that's what you want to do. Nobody will knock on your door and bother you.  But, the part that bothers me is that I'd like to give out nice treats to my fellow campers- not a bunch of brats belonging to the Mommy Bloggers group or a carload of kids from the All Star Resorts.

I am amazed at the number of people who will go to so much trouble and expense for "free" candy.  These are the same geniuses who will pay for an overpriced ticket to MNSSHP  for the same reason, or pay rack rates for a room in order to get "free" dining.  Just go to the Publix and buy a bag of freakin candy.  Or better yet, next time you are at the local Chinese restaurant, fill your pockets with starlight mints for your little angels.

Overall, I like everything they did.
 
But, one small critique- I don't like the fabric on the couch.  It's doesn't fit the wilderness theme.
 
Also, it looks like they ditched the coffee table, and there are no end tables for the couch.  Where am I supposed to set my beer down?

It's awesome that you're taking your mom back to the Fort.
As you know, late November/early December is a great time to visit.

We aren't headed down until Christmas week, but have an awesome time and we'd love to see pics of your cart once it's decorated.  :)

They will have fun picking up all the trash that gets tossed in between the rock by careless visitors! 
That is the natural setting for most of FL!
I think they dismantled the wave machine a while back.
