  1. Well, I'm late and have zero bragging rights, but I'm loving the report!! I'm making our plans for a cruise next year. Gotta get it in before my son turns 13 so he can go to the cool kids clubs. Have to say, you look adorable in your captain's hat!
  2. My kids freaked when I showed them the kids clubs!! Thanks for the sneak peek Jason. They're one of the reasons my cruise must happen next year. My son will turn 13 in November of 2014 and then will be too old for the clubs. I don't want him to miss out.
  3. I'm a little behind, but Z is one cute pirate!! And I love the HDDR...can't wait to take my kiddos next time.
  4. I'm still in the early stages of planning a 7 day cruise for 2014 so this report is extra exciting for me! Can't wait to read more.
  5. 'Ohana! One of my top two places to eat in Disney!! Seriously, they could keep the skewers and just bring me the wings and dumplings.
  6. How ridiculous that the other family made that big of a deal about the squirrel, but score for you on the cabana! Heck, I'm usually the idiot trying to feed the squirrels (and other various wildlife) from my hand. They would have hated me.
  7. And here I thought only us weirdos in Pittsburgh called them Hoagies! Nice to know we're not alone. The Poly is beautiful! When we went to 'Ohana last September, we all agreed we'd like to stay there someday. Of course, I say that at each resort I go to. But that view from your balcony is amazing! I don't mind getting wet (on the rides) or in the rain. It's just that if you end up going inside afterwards you end up freezing!! Can't wait for more!
  8. I'm late, but I'm here. SOO excited for you both!! Trust me, Disney World gets WAY more fun after you have kids!
  9. Glad I was there last September and not this one. The trade off with September is that the crowds are way low and most rides are almost a walk on. I wouldn't go any other time.
  10. These are great!! So, the second batch you did with just rubber bands?
  11. I like alot of these! I had no idea Doritos would burn like that!! We actually use moving blankets on the floor of Tentzilla. Makes it softer and warmer for walking around in bare feet and you can fold them up and stick them anywhere when packing.
  12. The calliope pictures were breathtaking. So sorry you missed it TCD. I'm glad I recently got to see the shoe tree in person and hope it's still there for many more years to come.
  13. I love bonus material!!! I think it's nice that you got to do something special with Twin #1. Each summer I take one day with each kid, solo, for a mom and me day and they love it. So do I. Now if only we could make it to Disney for those days...
  14. Oh Kim...what a horrible feeling being trapped on that whirly bird must have been! I get nervous when my kids get on the elevator before me, thinking the doors may close before I can get on! Bravo to Lil H! I know this was a weird situation, but I think people don't realize the challenges that siblings of special needs kids sometimes have to face. He did a great job! I'm looking forward to the rest of it!
  15. Must. Have. 1971 Tumbler! Wonder if they're selling them on disneystore.com.
  16. We stayed at 1501 in September and loved it. even tho the bus stop is right behind it, we were never bothered by road noise at all. And the comfort station was just a few steps away. We have a huge tent (we don't call it Tentzilla for nothing) and it fit perfectly.
  17. Welcome! Looking forward to more of your adventure!
  18. Poor boatms...little did they know they would start this snark-storm. :rofl2: I was there in September, when it's less crowded, in the 1500 loop and the bathrooms were never crowded. I never had to wait for a shower. And, as everyone else said, beautifully clean.
