  1. We are? Oh, I guess that's why I've seen Rod placing his units. :rofl3: Also:
  2. Yes IMO, we've been here 3 weeks and haven't seen or actually heard of any specific activity They posted the warnings as a "just in case" as well as to remind people not to leave food/garbage out. The same letter was posted in August as well.
  3. TCD It's so nice when you do these reports. We get to enjoy most of the sights without the crowd. Good job.
  4. They just take your CC# and if you don't cancel in time then it gets charged. At least that is what I remember from when we rented one a couple years ago.
  5. The refurb looks good. New carpet, better benches and the bears all have new fur coats. They really look good. The show is still the same and as of right now it is open for EMH.
  6. Here is what Michelin says about tire service life: That is why, in addition to regular inspections and inflation pressure maintenance by consumers, it is recommended to have RV/Motorhome tires, including spare tires, inspected regularly by a qualified tire specialist, such as a tire dealer, who will assess the tire’s suitability for continued service. Tires that have been in use for 5 years or more should continue to be inspected by a specialist at least annually. Consumers are strongly encouraged to be aware not only of their tires’ visual condition and inflation pressure
  7. Chris, For your own peace of mind, 402 is 84 ft. center line. I just measured it.
  8. Just had a notice put on the truck that the black bears are back in the area...Don't leave food out. What about those people in tents?
  9. We usually stay at Renfro Valley since it is closer to the X-way and less money, as well as nice level sites. We checked out the KOA and it is up on the hill and many of the sites have a slope. It is also further off the X-way.(been to better and been to worse). We also give a "thumbs up" to Eagles Roost.
  10. Oh so true. Worked for us, daughter and family are in 118.:D
  11. We're getting a decent signal on 119 from the cabins. No sure how far it "spreads" in the loop though. I got the modem when we checked in, but took it back right away since we didn't need it.
  12. I was told the system they use is much like a hotel reservation system and that is why sites are assigned no more than 5 days out. That way if you decide to extend there is normally not a problem unless the site classification you are in is sold out. If they reserved by site number it would be the mess Carol mentioned.
  13. We found out that Defeated Creek use to allow carts, but again idiot parents let underage kids drive the carts, thus the ban. That seems to be the common denominator at all parks that don't allow them.
  14. I wouldn't get too excited about trench drains. They could have issues with water running accross the floor or walkway where it shouldn't.
  15. Shanta deleted all his links and art work. He made that post about a month ago and said if you wanted it get it "now"..
  16. 1979. We had a Club Rally at the old Camping World CG in Kissimmee and then we went to the FORT. I use to belong to the "Magic Key Club" and had books of all "E" tickets that we bought in California, they were good at both parks. It was bad enough being addicted to Disneyland, but Camping and Disney World that is euphoria.
  17. I think they know he is there, he just doesn't throw it back in their face as some other outside vendors did.
