What a naive question from this blogger. Chapek isn’t going anywhere. He’s doing exactly what the Board of Directors wants him to do- maximize profits no matter the cost. A better question would be to ask how much longer will D23 be around?  The Disney company clearly doesn’t give a rat’s ass about their fans, and that isn’t changing any time soon.

Don't feel bad.  I consider myself pretty good at backing trailers into practically any space.  My Dad had me backing farm trailers at 7 years old and I could zip them in and out of barns and park them next to other vehicles without ever leaving a scratch.  But short wheelbase trailers like popups or small Uhauls are a pain in the neck.  The slightest movement of the steering wheel is amplified in the trailer, easily sending it astray.  I rented a little Uhaul several years ago and that darn thing gave me fits.  Y'all are probably better at backing up than you think, but those small PUPs are messing with you.   

If that's the case then security concerns when inspecting coolers at entry makes the most sense.... I would hate to have to stick my hands in coolers all day digging in loose ice.  picking up a small bag would be a lot faster and easier.

Not quite. We haven't moved on so much as we have evolved. All of my daughters currently live in the Orlando area, and the twins are full time Disney employees in junior management positions. The twins have an apartment with a dedicated daybed for overnight guests, so our on-property stays have been greatly reduced. In the last year, we've been to Disneyland twice and taken two DCL cruises.  And we have made a lot of day trips to the parks  
Like Travisma mentioned in his comment, it's a huge PITA to stay at the Fort these days. It's hard to get a reservation, and the cost is outrageous. We've had a few quick cabin trips in the last year at CM rates, but even with the CM discount, those are overpriced. 
Like Carol mentioned above, photobucket made it a lot harder to post a photo intensive trip report. 
Our most recent cruise was earlier this month. I have enough photos for a short report. I will try to find the time to get a report going.

The IP is also great for hard boiled eggs.  I have done 20 at a time.  It is so fast because it only has to heat 1 cup of water.  High pres. for 4 mins natural release for 5 mins then quick release.  I pull the incert out, put in the sink and fill with cold water to stop the cooking.   But the best part is you will never peel an easier egg.  The shell just falls off.   Do not over cook or the eggs whites will be grey.  

The only redeeming qualities to the 2100 loop for me are:
 If you are camping with other people that want some other level of accommodations.  It’s close to the partial and premium campsites as well as the Cabins.  The best thing is it added a few more campsites, giving me a little better chance to get in the resort.    

This is the thing I see misunderstood most often on other msg boards and especially on Facebook pages.  The only thing preferred about these sites is the location. IMO most the sites themselves are a step below full hook up. They tend to be smaller and closer together.

We had the after 2 passes for a couple of years.  I loved them.
They actually were best after a summer storm. Those typically are over by late afternoon, and if the storm was a big one, the water parks clears out.  We would often show up just an hour or so before closing, park in the front row (because the early birds typically are gone by then), and basically have the place to ourselves and ride all the big slides with no waits- it was awesome!
Also, let me give you a pro tip about the after 2 pm passes.  You can upgrade a one day water park ticket to an after 2 pm pass on the day that you use it. If you want to buy the after 2 pass, chose a park to go to for rope drop and enjoy it all day.  Then upgrade to the after 2 pass on the way out for just a few bucks more than the one day pass.  If you want, hop to the other water park in the afternoon and use your new after 2 pm pass there.  It's a great way to kick off the year that you'll have the after 2 passes.

I/m FiNdn Ot woh LittLe of a Sta Wors faN i aM.  HowEveR, The drunking gam was W O N D ER F U L .    When the fist movie came out I (like everyone else) Thought it was the greatest thing on earth.  It was so far ahead of it's time.  I have liked all the movies in the series but they were just OK.  No way will  ever wear fur in Florida to a park.  But hay they were fun to look at.  Thanks for the show. 

I have started making a series of videos to try and answer the questions I see all the time. In my first one I started with How do I get to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue when arriving by boat. It also covers, Trail's End, the location for the carriage rides. 
 
 

I can see the value in this service not only faster transportation but saves a ton of walking and I am assuming since you come and go from inside the park no bag checks?  But what a slap in the face to passholders to have to pay $15 a day.  They give a break to the people that pay for 2 to 10 days but no break for people that pay for hundreds of days and probably go less than 30 days.

They did a great job replicating the camper from the artwork they sell at the fort. 

That was great.  A few comments
I would have given almost anything to see and meet  Walt in the park.
Noticed how well most of the guest were dressed as well.  Lots of men is dress shirts and ties and lots of hats not baseball caps. 
They managed to make the castle look a lot bigger than it is. 
Did you see people smoking anywhere they want? 
That was the year I was born so it was neat see how things were.

It is shocking that the people at Disney would recommend walking between resorts.  Not only is it dangerous, but what I would have thought they would  object to is how long you will be without options to spend money.  I would expect it to send you through every shop and restaurant within 1/2 mile of your route. It is truly amazing how unDisney the My Disney Experience is.
