This is so true, we did labor day weekend in Gatlinburg last year and was shocked at how much we ended up spending.... we could have done the fort for a week. I dont know if it's just that when I plan my disney trips I do so with the thought that I must be frugal and do a lot of packing of snacks and cooking at camp, or I just lost my mind that weekend and didnt think about what we were spending til we got home.

I love your pictures, you and I have the same "eye" on what we like to photograph :) I totally understand how much you love Rick and how it complicates the camping adventure when he doesnt quite have the same enthusiasm, Dave and I are in that boat. A two week camp trip solo is a fantasy for this girl!! One I will accomplish one day.. probably in 20 years or so.. assuming my wheelchair can handle it.. :rofl2:

I'd say probably so depending on when you go.. I assume cost is the same if you do same as as it is any other day again depending upon when you go... are you going alone? Need a buddy??

I'll take 6 :) I'm impressed with her photography skill, it's not easy to get those quality of shots straight out of the camera, Kudos!! because we dont get down there often, we will want to do some parks but I imagine it wont be as much as if we were going during the off season, crowds give me hives. ok, so page 5, in a TCD report is still not that bad IMHO opinion, I had to stop and read this as it looks as if Halloween is out for us until the kids are out of school, so that's like 18 years, but Thanksgiving seems to work, I was rather upset about it but seeing your report has made me feel much better! Your pictures are always good but these are OUTSTANDING! New Camera? :) Rocky is just to stinking cute for words!

when are you thinking of going? Dave and I talked about the same thing, and like you I'm torn on the kid thing.. But if ANOTHER couple were to go .. sans kids.. it would almost be like an adult outing.. wouldn't it? :D

I know WWW2013 is all about hanging with the girls at the fort and such but for those of us that don't get down there to often I'm gonna need one of you ladies to take me to the MK, I'm very excited to see all this new stuff. (I didn't even say SAUSAGE once!!)

Finally all caught up! How sweet that you got a special preview! I'm on the fence with beer at MK, it's sad poor Walts wishes no longer seem to matter, that seems to be the sad state of our society today, BUT I now have a vice for getting DH to spend more time at MK so it's a wash I guess. No comment on the shorts or sausages.. Actually I have lots but they aren't family friendly

I saw this last night, I had no idea the changes were going to be that significant, I can now get tickets cheaper through MWR which really isnt cheap if your a family of seven. happy thoughts happy thoughts happy thoughts..
