Dont tell Lou but we actually did that part on purpose we like to ride the monorail. Long live the lever pushers! But it would have been smarter to take the bus to the one of the MK resorts and skip the the trip to AKL. Maybe I had too many adult beverages at AK.

Since we normally don't park hop I didn't know there were buses that went directly from one park to another. After 20 years and dozens of trips to WDW I still learn new things. The funny part is on our last trip we were at AK and left there and went to AKL to catch a bus to MK to take monorail to Poly for dinner at the luau. Lol. To think of all the beers I could've drank instead of waiting for resort buses.

Ill give you MK to Eocot. Oh great writer of the TRs. But if you left AK or HS and where going to Another park would you not have to leave the park go to a resort and then take a bus to HS. I've wait for 20+ minutes for a bus, and even longer during the busy summer months. They will be in a scooter which will take a little longer to load and unload. I believe Lou once posted suggested travel times while on the buses but I couldn't find that post. If only he read posts and refresh my memory.

To us it's not worth the money. Since we make advance dining reservations we simple go to that park for the day. Park hopping can take up a lot of time. It will take you at least 1-1 1/2hrs to get from park to park and that's if all the stars line up. If you've never been to disney before save your money and go have a nice dinner from the $50 plus per person you'll save.

It all looks pretty cool. I hope not too many people find out about those charging stations.

Welcome! Your right it is different then booking a regular resort. At the fort you get to pick the area you'd like to be in. Like being further away from the marina so the fire works aren't as loud or being closer to the swimming pool because you plan on spending a lot of time there. Planning is half the fun and the folks here know the Fort better than some CMs at Disney. Have fun planning and just jump on in...the water is fine!

I just don't understand why someone that's going to WDW would buy the park hopper option. A 7 day regular ticket costs $288 and if you add the hopper option it costs $345. Is it worth the extra $57 to be able to leave one park and go to another in the same day? For a family of four that's an extra $228. I always hear people say that They like to go in the morning to MK and then go swimming at the resort and then go to Epcot for dinner and then Fireworks. Then what the next day you go to Epcot early and then go to MK that night to watch Wishes. Why not save your money and goto MK early, th

Any chance you or TJ will be driving one of the articulated buses? It might make it easier to find you. Also will they be run a designated route or will they run just like the other buses?

We've stayed at the AS resorts about 12 times and the first time we were booking are stay we asked for sports and they told us that that is where they were booking the little league football players and that we should stay at ASMusic because they fill AS Sports first followed by ASMovies and them ASMusic. It may have been a smaller group of kids because we were in a preferred room right by the main pool at ASMusic and never had to deal with a lot teenagers. Except on the buses when they dropped them off at ASSports.

Priority bowling! I don't like it. Pay the money and you get to jump to the front of the line. It just doesn't send a good message to our kids. Or to people in general.

I think your talking about a GAC, guest assistance card. I get one every time I go. I'm a disabled veteran that can't stand or walk for extended periods of time due to severe back injury while I was in the navy. You go by guest services as you enter any park and tell them your child's condition and they give you a pass that allows you to either sit in a quite area away from the crowds till its your turn to get into an attraction or it acts like a fast pass and gets you thru the lines faster. I just wanted to say hello and welcome. We rented a fifth wheel from makingcampingeasy.com. It was great. It has bunk beds in the back which was great because you can put the kids to bed and close the door and watch a little tv. It also included a golf cart. I've never rented a pop up but I've heard nothing but good things about curt. Have fun planning
