  1. The thing that’s interesting is that they were just put up. when do they normally post the months park hours? for example, when will December’s park hours be posted?
  2. Btw. You can’t make a dining reservation till June 1st.
  3. Hotel reservations aren’t available till June 1st. So maybe, wishful thinking, they are going to take the limited staff they have and open the parks. And then as they bring on laid-off and new employees they will reopen the resorts.
  4. I’m going to add to the confusion. A Disney friend told me today that WDW has posted park hours. Posted hours begin May 3, 2020. I don’t remember where he told me he say it but I checked disneys website and yes. They now show park hours starting May 3rd. I am cautiously optimistic this means anything but just wanted to share. we have rescheduled our Easter trip. First to May 23-30, 2020 and now to June 3–13th, 2020. Keeping my fingers crossed.
  5. Hopefully you’ll be able to bank them all. just curious. But what size unit do y’all normally get when traveling with the extended family? we are talking about a 2020 Christmas trip with DW’s Cousin and her son. A studio is almost half the cost of a 1 bedroom and a 1/3 the cost of 2 bedroom. So we are thinking about getting 2 studios. Since we normally only eat breakfast and snacks in our room. We really don’t need a kitchen.
  6. Our passes expire May 21. so would get approx 2 months refunded. we renewed last year, before the rate increase and with the 15% renewal discount. So I believe we paid about $730. So we would get about $120/ pass. That’s a one day one park pass. Since we rescheduled our trip for June we will choose to have the passes extended. As it looks like WDW won’t reopen till at least June 1st. Our passes should be good till about mid August. If flights stay as cheap as they are right now. We might be able to get a August trip in as well.
  7. Here’s a copy of the email I received from WDW concerning passholders. Important Walt Disney World Passholder Update Dear Valued Annual Passholder, This is a truly unprecedented time for all of us, and we want to thank you for your patience as we work through the many details related to the temporary closure of the theme parks. We recognize this may be a challenging time, so we wanted to share how we will assist our Annual Passholders. Active Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes who have paid in full will be extended for the number
  8. Maybe y’all didn’t see it but it appears to have an airbag suspension. Which means it could be made to ride higher than in the pictures. pump up the air bags and lift up the truck.
  9. I don’t know if this means anything but got an email from wyndham bonnet creek that said they, bonnet creek, are closed until May 1st.
  10. Tried to book a FP at the 60 day mark and they were all gone. So was smugglers run, toy story mania, slinky, and alien saucers. I really wish they would get rid of all FPs!
  11. Wow! an expected 2 1/2 year closure. I bet it didn’t take 2 1/2 years to build it originally! lol!
  12. So if I’m understanding correctly, I could arrive at DHS at 8:00am, walk to Galaxys edge and then if I’m lucky get a boarding time that could be, theoretically, at 8:00 pm. is that correct?
  13. I haven’t been to a Perkins restaurant in years. It would definitely be less expensive than eating at a WDW restaurant Where exactly is it at?
  14. Just looked at their breakfast menu. there’s a quite a few entree that sound really good. thanks
  15. That’s a great idea. i like that it would be an easy in and out.
  16. DD(15) and I are looking for a place to have breakfast one morning during our up coming trip. Open to all suggestions but we are not looking for a character meal. The restaurant can be in a park, resort, Disney Springs, and we will also consider an off-property Resort or restaurant. thanks in advance for all of your suggestions.
  17. Love tater tots for breakfast. Throw them in the toaster oven while I’m cooking the bacon. off subject, but don’t you think they need more places to get sushi?
  18. We rarely eat dinner there. It’s usually appetizers, sushi, and drinks. the quality of those items seem to e the same. I’m sorry to hear the quality of the entrees has gone down. We like the seating area next to the bar.
