  1. Do you want to see a grown woman cry? I think trip reports would be great for the trip reporter as well as a keepsake.
  2. A lady Named Debbie Bernard Frame posted a couple hours ago that her golf cart charger was stolen last night. She is in the 600 loop. We stayed a few weeks ago with two golf carts and two chargers and did not lock anything up at all with no problem. I guess timing is everything. Lock up your stuff I guess. Sad.
  3. Maybe yarn, I could not figure it out at all. How could it be so colorful? So weird. And I still wonder about the cleanliness aspect (yuk) dirty hair freaks me out I don't know why. You don't see that much in Wisconsin. Here we mostly see fat people wearing green and gold sweat outfits and cheese hats. Your pictures looked better than the one I just paid a professional to do. I have two good cameras and my pictures ALWAYS turn out wrong. We ate at chef mickeys one night and I was in charge of photos and got some REALLY sweet pictures of Pluto and my son and daughter after we left I looked th
  4. I just love this trip report. Are you a professional photographer? I love the pictures! I first read your report tonight but have to back up to your first pages and tell you I saw the crazy hair lady! LOL She is one person, people will not forget I will give her that. I sat across from her on a bus TO Animal Kingdom! How crazy is that!?! I wonder how you can wash hair like that..... She did not look as happy as her hair looked else I would have struck up a conversation with her to ask what she was thinking!
  5. Holy Smokes Jason, That is THE most beautiful waffle I have ever seen! I hear part of your services for people you plan trips for is you come to our site and make us breakfast on our first morning.....see you in March.
  6. OH! That would explain our cable problems on this last trip. Duh.
  7. Thank you Devores! I am sorry it has taken me so long to respond. First I must say, I love the photopass system, and the photographers! We get such nice pictures. I knew not using a back up (Card) with the new magic band system was risky but I was lazy. Yes, we used different magic bands for pictures, mostly my band and my husbands. I did know to look under resorts and more for the special event photos. When they were not there that is when I called. Truly, the photos they recovered for this years Christmas Cards (which are now on the way) are the only ones I now care about. So I will not
  8. Oh! Great photo! much better than my phone picture. I guess it is just dirt! From a distance it looked like it was caving in. Wild!
  9. Thanks Gwen! I even made a bunch of strangers look at it while at the bus stop and they all looked at me like I was a nut. Could be because they did not speak English and had no idea what I was babbeling about..... Glad you have all your pictures! I knew better, that is what I get for being lazy.
  10. I ordered our Christmas cards today (but almost did not) with a photopass picture we took at the MVMCP by the soldiers with the castle in the background. Since we used our Magic bands now, we swiped our band vs using the photopass cards. BIG MISTAKE. My advice to anyone who is there now, If you are utilizing photopass do it with the cards only. We have lost many pictures we had taken due to this. The picture I had taken for our Christmas Cards was lost. Some of our photos showed up and some did not. I lost all the pictures where you hold your hand out and something cute will appear on the pi
  11. We were there this morning. Our reservation time was 10:15. We actually got in about 10:25. The buffet was full of fresh food. If something was low there was a panfull right behind the low one ready to be replaced. We were impressed. Here is a list of what I can remember. ... fresh fruit.breads.pastries.salmon. eggs benedict.breakfast pizza.bacon.sausage.bisquits.gravy cheese grits.waffels.scrambled eggs.french toast bread pudding with pecan sryup.... those are the highlights I am sure I forgot something. We were happy. I bet you will enjoy!
  12. Well, we did not get to go after all that. I had to stay at camp and work since some mean person hacked our corporate UPS account and I had to fight an almost 4k bill after they already debited our checking account. So anyone with a UPS account beware if you are set up via EFT. UPS accounts are vulnerable to fraud
  13. LOL I thought of trying the HS studios route! But I think my Mom is ready to get there, We will just take the fast way you suggested. THANKS so much for the info! I really appreciate it :heartsmiley:
  14. What is your favorite way from the Fort to Epcot if you want to just stroll the countries? Is there a way to get from here to the Gateway easily? Or is is just better to go direct to Epcot and drag everyone through the park to get to the countries? Thank you in advance! :clint:
  15. I am with TCD on the Wireless. If they wanted to they could. We owned a large wireless company in Wisconsin and IL for over 10 years, trees can be an issue however there are just as many trees around the cabins as are the campsites. Maybe there is something I don't know. What I DO know is we are here and I have to use the internet in my Mothers cabin to work because the Internet provided to the campsites is so poor. ( I did try mooching the cabin internet from my Mom's and the signal is too weak)We were able to get a kit which is no longer in a nice box, now they throw it all in a bag. Our net
  16. A ranger hollered at us two nights ago as we were leaving the fireworks. My husband was carrying my Son and I think the ranger thought our son was a small dog. We ignored him and kept going. So I assume dogs are not allowed by the restaurant, and Settlement area. :clint:
  17. Hey! I like that idea Carol! Thanks I think we will do that next time, I thought about that but was not sure where to do that. We did end up taking the little boat (Thank you all for the info) and it worked out great, my Mom felt great to not be in the scooter for once I think she is self conscious about it even though she should not be. We had a great dinner at Chef Mickeys, although Pluto did try to steal Lukas's (11 Mo) Cheerios. One thing I did NOT think about was the little boats can get COLD for people like my older Mom who get cold easily. the ride there was cold the ride back just a
  18. Oh! Yeah I thought of that, but I cannot get her scooter on the little boat. BUT she may be able to hoove it a short while. The Little boat at the Fort goes to the Contemporary? I was thinking it just went to Fort Wilderness.....?

  20. Hello from The Fort! Is there a thread on here I cannot find that lists the best way to get places from The Fort? I am trying to figure out how to get us from the Fort to the Comtemporary, Floridian, and the Poly...I looked in the welcome packet and it does not tell you much about how to get around. Another question I had was, are Scooters go on the Monorail? We are taking my Mom our to a few restaurants a we are not sure if she can bring the scooter. Thank you in advance for any direction :clint: Laura
  21. Wow! Glad you got it all working ok, but what a nightmare. How's the weather there? :rofl3:
  22. Great report so far! You had me laughing almost to tears twice! Once for the Joke mug suggestion of buying 1 new one and refilling your old ones with it.....and second your description of trying to use the KTTW cards to open the door. We toured the AOA resort last year and it is a TON of walking. I think they should allow golf carts....... The resort is pretty, BUT less than functional as far as ease of getting around and getting to food/drink stations. I would hate it there. I am WAY too spoiled at the Fort.
