  1. Yay!! The looks on your girls' faces...I looked exactly like that in January! LOL! I was worse than the kids! Can't wait to read more about your trip.
  2. CCE (Enterprises) is no more as of the year before last...Everyone is Coca-Cola Refreshments, CCE and CCNA (Coke North America) combined and now we have a huge mess! LOL :gaah: Officially my title is Inventory Analyst...I work in the Cooler Services Dept. Unofficially, I do everything except install fountain equipment and deliver coolers on a daily basis (I have done it though). I wasn't aware there was still a privately owned bottler on the east coast. Cool! My husband and I dream of how nice it would be to move to the Jacksonville area, we have family there already and its so much cheaper t
  3. Carol - I am sooo jealous!! Can't wait to read about the rest of your weekend!
  4. Oooo! This is definitely on my list! Good to know there is a nice friendly campground in the area. :camp1:
  5. Do you still work for CCR in Jacksonville? Are they hiring? LOL I work for Coca-Cola here in Maryland. 13 years...and lots of grey hairs! :banghead:
  6. WOW! I opened this thread thinking I would have another "near by" campground to go to for a weekend...lol! :rofl2: I think I'll save my pennies and go to the beach instead. :wave1: Thank you!!
  7. Just finished your TR. AWESOME!! Thank you for allowing us to live vicarously through your vacation. :wave1:
  8. Yay! More mud!! I miss those days up here in VA! :)
  9. I was looking for reservations for that week for some friends last week. And I couldn't get anything either. We have 3 days off of school MLK week here in Maryland...there may be a lot of people headed south that week. We are! :)
  10. Thanks for the pic and the info Andrew. It's about as clear as mud isn't it? :rofl3: I guess we'll just do what we normally do, we'll wash dishes at the site in my tubs and then dump the water in the "big" sink.
  11. HIJACK!! I edited the quote...but in all seriousness...is there somewhere to dispose of grey water near/on the partial loops? Most of the campgrounds we frequent here at home have a "dishwashing station" at one or more of the comfort stations. I didn't notice anything when we were at FW this past January but since we were using Donnie's camper and my mom had their's we weren't really looking for a place to do dishes. :thank-you-smiley3:
  12. We're still contemplating this for our trip in January. We managed to get in on a share last year and it was definitely worth the money we paid but we're only doing 1 character meal this year and I don't know that the ride photos are worth the extra $70 over the regular PhotoPass.
  13. WOW!! We (Coca-Cola Equipment Services) really screwed up when we placed that vendor!! :banghead:
  14. Thank you for providing me another Fort fix! Cannot wait to hear more! :)
  15. Jason...beautiful pictures!! I was right along there with you until you came out of Oklahoma. Every other year or so we make the 26 hour drive to my in-laws in NW Oklahoma, we tend to follow the same route, RT81 in VA to I40 in TN, then on to AK (which I HATE driving in). I would LOVE to drive out west with my kids...who knows maybe we will eventually. :rofl3: Oh and P.S. - I think its great that you are tent camping along the way. We tent camp but I cannot imagine taking our gear for a road trip of that magnitude. :camp1:
  16. I'm bringing our own stroller down in for our trip in January. Does anyone have a design we could use for a laminated license plate to put on our stroller to help it stand out as ours? :thank-you-smiley3:
  17. Hey those people where on the 1700 loop when we were there in January. Really nice people! :clint:
  18. OMGosh!! I may have to talk the gang into breakfast there one morning in January!! They look sooo good! :fork:
  19. I did Nicki...it wasn't under warranty any longer so the best they could do was offer me a discount on the purchase of a new one. Now to justify parting with $64 now when we haven't bought our park tix yet for the January trip. Lol
  20. I'm in the same boat as you Lorna...my Kindle's screen went all funky. I still don't know what happened to it. However, I do know that I will be buying another as I am now going through Kindle withdrawal (can't you tell by how often I'm posting here lately?). I don't want a Fire cause a back lit device hurts my eyes after a while...thats why I don't read on my iPad. I don't like the Kindle Touch either. I read the Hunger Games Trilogy on Alex's touch the other weekend and I'm so used to being able to turn the page with either hand (buttons on both sides) on his touch you actually have to TOUCH
  21. YAY!! Great report so far!! Can't wait to read more. Would you mind sharing the website for the pirate cruise? :thank-you-smiley3:
  22. I am loving this report!! We're normally tent campers, and I remember the first time we went and it wasn't a campground as nice as Fort Wilderness! LOL :camp1: :welcome2:
