  1. Cannot wait to hear/read more about your Christmas, Dave!! All your girls are just too beautfiul for words.
  2. This is great!! :jumpforjoy I'm taking notes on where to go to see this in person when we are there next month. Thanks Lou!!
  3. On the way out the door this morning, Gracie nabbed my phone to check the trip countdown. We are 36 days until our camping trip at the fort. Since I like to be prepared for ANYTHING, lists are my "thing". (I tend to forget stuff if not on a list.) So All-knowing Fort Fiends...hit me with your bestest, funnest, non-park "stuff" to do while at the Fort. Keep in mind it will be 4 adults, Gracie (7) and Zach (5). We will be taking our bicycles and the kids got gift cards for christmas that are burning holes in their pockets so a trip to DTD is in order. Anything we definitely don't want to miss ou
  4. Our next trip will be a no parks trip, so I think I'm most looking forward to meeting some Fiends in person (I hope). And finding all the cool, neat little things that TCD writes about in his TRs. I want to just relax and play with my kids basically, and can't think of a better place to do it than the Fort.
  5. We rented from Donnie for our trip in January! It was wonderful and Donnie was too! :)
  6. That is just too cute!! I have to show Gracie when I get home. We love House Hunters!
  7. Adding this one to the "bucket list" of campgrounds we want to see. Kinda bummed its a dry park although the MD state parks here are supposed to be dry too but it doesn't seem to stop anyone. :rofl3: Can't wait to read more.
  8. Oh I am sooo jealous!! I cannot WAIT until February! We've decided no parks, so we're just gonna meander around all week, hope to see some of the neat sites in your TRs. :jumpforjoy
  9. I'm sure one of the locals will be by soon with an answer for you but in the meantime... :welcome2: Make sure you stop by the introduction thread and tell us about yourself. (I'm from MD too.) :animated-smileys-character-024:
  10. I am thinking the second page is better than nothing at all, right? :clint: Looking forward to reading more.
  11. Welcome Matt!! Isn't FW addicting? LOL My family did the same thing...we're going back in February after our first trip in January this year! We're just gonna soak up the Fort atmosphere! Thank you for your trip report. But one thing? Where's the pictures? :bf-birddancingsmiley:
  12. Gwen, I am SO enjoying all your pictures. I'm going to be so sad when you're done. I'm happy that your dad turned out to be ok. I was praying hard!
  13. Beautiful pictures, adorable kids and a very lovely wife! Gatlinburg is on our list...we'll get there eventually! Can't wait to see/read more!! :pc:
  14. Yay!! Another TCD trip report!! Took the kids to see Wreck It Ralph on Saturday for the little man's birthday. It was adorable, of course now all Zach talks about is wanting to see Ralph at Disney! lol
  15. Check out the information tabs for Camper Rentals. We have quite a few members that rent equipment, bring it and set it up for you and everything.
  16. StacyLynn - when are you going to be at FW? I find that the best part about staying there is not HAVING to eat out if I don't want to. But I agree with putting that $$ you were going to spend on the dining plan on a gift card and just use that. :wave1:
  17. Loved the trip report! Looking forward to the next one! :jumpforjoy
  18. I believe this has been mentioned on here before that purchasing tickets through Disney's YES program is a great way to have a budget trip, as well as adding a bit more "education" to your WDW trip. We utilized this great program in January, my niece and Gracie had a great time in their class and my pocketbook loved the savings on ticket costs. HOWEVER, there must be someone, somewhere that was getting one over on the Mouse cause the program is COMPLETELY changed for 2013!! :banghead: Tickets are still discounted, just not as deeply and hardly at all for Adults not attending the class as a cha
