caveat lector got a reaction from Avatab.... Steve in So, how many of you are renewing your season passes?
By the time I'm in a position to do multiple trips in one year, I will have to sell an organ to afford APs

That was a joke on two and a half men (before Charlie sheen went nuts)

caveat lector got a reaction from djsamuel in Richard Petty Demo & MK Parking Expansion
My family bought me 8 laps as a gift. It was quite a thrill hitting a corner at 120-130 mph (whatever it was). It was a great experience and memory. Disney didn't do a great job of marketing and the price was prohibitive. Replacing it with a parking lot only serves to homogenize the Disney experience. Sad

When I saw the thread title, I thought it was just another one of those crazy ride pics from TCD.

Move the park entrance and make ToT the central point. Call it the Spooky Kingdom. I mean, Steven Tyler is kind of scary....

Wow, these are great. Must have been a big storm, because it looks like the A/C units have been blown off the top of a lot of those campers.

I'm sure a lot of people have a story:
Guy in a truck complains he was cut off by a class A
Guy in a Prius claims he was cut off by a truck
Guy in a GC was cutoff by a Prius
Guy on a bike was cutoff by a GC
Guy walking was cutoff by a bike
Squirrel failed to get right if way from a guy walking
Rule enforcement and social civility is all that is needed.

Mo , Cindy, and Lou inspired me to me to post a pic. Love the pics of your pups. Bandit and Thor are not as impressed as momma is about the bandana the groomer applied. :)

I've met Lou in person, eagerly enjoyed some of his "inside baseball" postings about WDW, and even been the recipient of some of his snarky postings. He's a good guy that adds a lot of personality to this site. Wasn't quite the same when he took his hiatus.
I don't have the same exposure to Shannon, but seems like a good guy. And he looks like Santa to boot.
Hope all can just do a reboot and get back to normal business. I have a couple TRs that I way behind on.

That's a great line. You should write a book

caveat lector got a reaction from BradyBzLyn...Mo in Fishing in the canals at Fort Wilderness
When the kids were smaller, I used some smaller hooks and filed down the barb a little. While there was risk of losing the big fish, it made it easier for the kids to get the fish off the hook without damage and return them to the water. The hooks were about half as wide as a penny. Hot dogs, cheese, and bacon were good bait.

My favorite is to go visit the Jack Daniels distillery. Even though it's a dry county, they were nice enough to sell me a jack Daniels bottle and fill it with free liquor

caveat lector got a reaction from BradyBzLyn...Mo in What would Larry say?
FWG nailed the Larry facsimile.
Now, if the guy that built that contraption would spend his time more effectively, maybe we could all put metal in our microwaves

I like the tape to fix the coffee pot handle. American ingenuity.
You've tapped into an perplexing question. If an items sole purpose in life is to pour, why can't the geniuses make them pour effectively. Be it a coffee pot or a quart of oil, jeez. Remember the good ole days, when you would buy a can of motor oil, and have to drive that long metal spout through the top. It wasn't perfect, but made it easier to reach the oil fill hole on your engine. So along comes mr. tree hugger EPA guy and decides to replace a functioning product with recycled plastic container which has a snub nose neck. Maybe it was the oil companies who benefit from the wasted oil that I spill. Wait a minute, why am I high jacking a TCD report with a rant. Hope the Troll doesn't find out and charge me a royalty.
Oh ya, and I bet Feisty never noticed the delivery vehicles. That big rig of hers could have probably had better insulation than my house.

caveat lector got a reaction from Avatab.... Steve in Ticket Prices Going Up Again.....
It all depends on optics and economics.
Optics
As a consumer it sucks to have to use a larger percentage of my disposable income to visit the place I enjoy most
As a shareholder, I really enjoy the portion of my dividend check that was contributed by those obnoxious BTGs
Economics
Disneys perfect price falls at the intersection of the demand and supply lines. Supply must not be outpacing demand, otherwise simple economics would dictate the need for a price reduction (see post 9/11).
Emotions aside, a complex strategy is fairly easy to explain.
Class dismissed
