  1. Not sure if everyone saw the new video released today with a look inside Maurice's Cottage. http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2012/08/all-in-the-details-step-inside-the-world-of-belle-through-her-magic-mirror-at-magic-kingdom-park/
  2. Love my Kindle. I like being able to read it in the sun without issues. I would get another regular Kindle for that reason alone. While i love my "real" books I was having an issue with finding the ones i wanted as the sci-fi and fantasy areas of bookstores keep shrinking. With my Kindle I can get my books when I want them without hunting all over the state for a copy.
  3. The Octoberfest is very good this year. I will have to crack open one of the Harvest Pumpkins and report back later. I did not like the Dunkelweisen. Way to bitter for me.
  4. Hi guys. I am going to be doing a solo trip down to the fort in January to participate in my first 5k. The cheapest way for me to get there is going to be by train. I am trying to decide if it would better to take the train to Orlando or Kissimmee. Also would it be worth renting a car just to get to the Fort or should I just take a cab?
  5. My wife Silvia would tell you that it was her High school Jazz band on their trip to perform at Disney world in 1998? (she's not here for an exact date) Everytime we eat at Cosmic Rays I hear about the tie she performed there and got to go through some of the utildors and ride the stage up to Cosmic rays to perform.
  6. Personally I find every excuse I can to ride the monorail.
  7. Awesome. I love ghost hunting and am originally from RI the home of TAPS. My former roommate used to hang with Jay all the time. We even investigated my house one year with our limited equipment. Didn't find anything but love doing it. I would be up for a ghost hunt down in FL.
  8. Might be a good way for me to bring a couple of boxes of Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars home....hmmmmmmmm
  9. I am in. My wife would have totally made me pull the car over and try to get a room if we were driving by.
  10. I hope the Amy that won was you snorkelshot. If so Congratulations and have fun!
  11. Ok since we are planning a cruise next year for our honeymoon I have an very important question to ask. How did you transport so much alcohol onto the ship. Did you have it in a container or was it in checked baggage? I can't afford a cruise AND all the beverages my wife will want on one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  12. It depends on how much you think you need and how much you will actually use. A tent will be useful obviously, Do you want an air mattress, sleeping bag, or cot? Are you going to eat out or will you be cooking at the site? A bag or device for carrying your toiletries to the comfort station is also helpful. Don't forget towels too. Flashlights are nice to especially when making that middle of the night run to the comfort station. That's the basic stuff off the top of my head. I will see what else I can think of. Most importantly though Welcome!!!
  13. Your quite welcome Rita. I figured with this gang these might be a hit during these hot summer months.

  19. In perusing the web today I found some recipes that involved the idea of the float we all loved as kids and the alchohol we all love now. :-) I figured I would share them here.
