My money is on either docking the EWP elsewhere, or putting in a lift bridge like the one in Epcot where the fireworks barges come through.

From a travel agent email I just received.
We’ve got some exciting news to share today with the galaxy. We’re opening Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Dec. 5 at Walt Disney World Resort. If this date sounds familiar, many of our fans will recognize it as Walt Disney’s birthday. What better way to honor the ultimate storyteller than by introducing the most immersive and advanced attraction ever imagined in a Disney Park.

When it opens, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will blur the lines between fantasy and reality and will put Guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance. Guests will be recruited to join Rey and General Organa at a secret base. Along the way, they will be captured by a First Order Star Destroyer. With the help of some heroes of the Resistance, they break out and must escape the Star Destroyer, protect the secret base, and stay one step ahead of Kylo Ren.  

As soon as work is completed at Walt Disney World, Imagineers will head back to California to complete their mission at Disneyland Resort where Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will open on Friday, January 17.

haha. No people food for Jedi. he has a sensitive stomach and it usually makes him sick. I will have plenty of his favorite treats with me if he comes along for anyone who wants to spoil him.

According to a fellow TA friend who is local to the Fort the Premium Meadows loop numbers are 600, 800, 900, 1000, and 1400

What Jason said.  Also even when MK has closed on Christmas (not unusual), I don't recall it closing to resort guests in quite some time, so if you're staying at the Fort and taking a boat from the Fort you should be fine.  🙂

I received word from Disney today that the packages and online booking for 2020 will be opening up on June 18, 2019. There is still the 499 day to check out limitation in play though so on June 18 we will only be able to book to October 29. Getting closer to Halloween 2020 and it is on a Saturday next year. This will sell out even faster than usual. Send me your dates ahead of time so I can lock them down. And if you, your family, or friends want assistance booking travel for this year or next I am now full time and here at my desk or very close to it every day. Should be almost no waiting for me to hop on what you need. I appreciate the support you all have shown me and I look forward to helping you all get to the Fort in the near Future.

I'm actually looking forward to the DHS early hours. Get to Star Wars land at rope drop, take care of those attractions, then shoot over to Toy Story land, then ToT and RnRC, then back to the Fort before Rick even thinks about waking up. 🙂

For the first time in 14 years, we’re introducing a brand-new, Halloween fireworks spectacular to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park!
The spooky fun event, that happens on select nights from August 16 to November 1, will feature returning favorites along with all-new experiences, including the debut of an incredible new fireworks spectacular.  As you can see above in the very first scene to be released, this new show will feature state-of-the-art projection effects, lasers, lighting and dazzling fireworks that come together to tell a not-so-scary story about how anything can happen on Halloween night. The show will take guests along on a trick-or-treating adventure, where four friends – Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy – find themselves drawn into a mysterious haunted house. The journey takes them from one room of the house to another, encountering dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts and a whole series of troublemaking Disney villains.
I’m already so eager to see this new show! And if you are looking for an extra special way to celebrate the brand new show in its first year, our fireworks dessert parties are the perfect option! You can add on this experience to savor frightfully delightful treats – including chocolate-dipped strawberries, cupcakes, ice cream, seasonal fruits, cheeses, sparkling cider, signature lemonades and other ghoulish goodies – and take advantage of dedicated, dazzling views of the new Halloween fireworks spectacular.

First off campsites are excluded. There was one of the offers that was questionable but upon checking and digging it is excluded. I am trying a new way of sharing the promos. Would love feedback. Not certain if I love it myself yet.

They are hands down Silvia's favorite thing. We have watched near Splash Mountain then cut through Adventureland over to Main St so she can see them again. 

I'm actually surprised they're ending it Saturday vs Friday, but I guess they're figuring capture one last crazybusy Saturday as the Thanksgiving crowds start coming in.

Doesn't seem like she's touring this year, or at least the dates haven't been announced.
She will be at the NY State Fair at Syracuse in August.
